My posts and general participation in the forum will be dropping again for the next 2 months as I go back to Oxford to continue my degree.

If any details get finalised for a geekmeet of any kind, could EG please sticky it for a while so I'll spot it when I briefly scan the forum every so often?

I haven't got the time to play all the stuff I bought over Christmas, and there is the free trial of Anarchy Online, and 14 days free on Planetside to keep me busy in what little time I have.

I've got Futurama Season 4 and Firefly on DVD to watch as well.

Why don't just put that you're off back to university like the another thread says ".....university" and not "next year i'm gonna Wolverhampton Uni"? It seems like you want people to know that you're going there.

yes but then its stops people asking what uni your going to because theres almost always someone that does.

but a) those who care will know which uni you're at, and b) saying "i'm off back to Oxford" is like saying, "yeah, i own a porsche". It's to keep up the oxbridge mentality of being somehow superior

ye ok fair points, but when i mentioned wolverhampton in my thread it most likely wouldnt meran i owned a porchse.

I put Oxford in the title so that people who cared would know it was me without having to look accross to see who posted the thread. I nearly always click on threads without knowing who wrote them until I read the first post.

I am typing this from my room, so my internet obviously works. Better get back to the unpacking.
