For some reason it doesn't look as rough as the original trailer, though I don't see any visual improvement. It's looking great though. I've not played through a pokemon game since the originals when I was a kid, but i'm quite tempted to give this one a go. -

*What Ampharos' design is missing is a big nasty flowing white wig. That'd make him look badass. And put some on his tail too.... Like.... Tail pubes or something. Excellent.*
Edit: Loving MegaBlaziken's nod to the original Torchic ears though.

Alongside the already-announced trio of Mewtwo, Blaziken and Lucario, a new trailer reveals the mega forms of Ampharos, Absol and Mawile, and explains how Mega Evolution will work.
Mega Kangaskhan FTW
Additionally, over the weekend at the Pokemon World Championships, it was announced by Game Freak director Junichi Masuda that Kangaskhan would also be able to Mega Evolve. Doing so releases its child from its pouch, and unlocks the ability 'Parental Bond' that allows two attacks in a single turn. -

Registered 5 years agoThis will be so awesome. Everything from the 3DS graphics to Mega Kangaskhan. Also my favourite pokemon is Blaziken, so I feel like I hit a jackpot in my life. -

Registered 5 years agoI agree can't wait for this game. Wanted one of the Japanese limited edition 3DSs as I'll be there when it's released. Can't believe the pre-orders for the machines sold out so quickly in Japan. -

Registered 5 years agoThat pokeball cart holder looks cool, but does not worth £8 as I can preorder the game for under £28 at toys r us with an e-voucher by the end if this month.

Registered 8 years agoHaha my first was bulbasaur then squirtle and it wasn't until my third play through I used charmander but my love for my charizard holds stronger then any of the others -

Registered 8 years agoWhy would anyone choose anything other than Charmander? He's the cutest to start with and then turns into a freaking dragon! Although if Squirtle could have his shades from the anime... things might be different! -

Registered 8 years agoMy brother had blue and I had red he picked squirtle so to try to have them all as seen on my pokedex I picked bublasuar, Gary charmander brother squirtle it works as well with trading when needed I managed to have a complete (seen) pokedex never caught them all 
then my little brother told me it was easy to do with bulbasur and I should try squirtle as it was harder so I did then ieventually I got round to charmander and that was that lol -

After the omission of Pokemon from the "Games You're Most Looking Forward To" poll a few weeks back, I'm wondering if EG's decided they can't sully themselves with accusations of pandering to da kiddiewinks ... or something. -

Registered 5 years agoSo has everyone seen corocoro? Chespibs evolution looks ridiculous (hes like a pineapple) so im thinking he turns full shell grass/steel. Not sold on fennekin or froakies evos either 
On the plus side, mega garchomp is sexy. -
