I'll second that. Yes story wasn't amazing and some of the characters were boring but the setting and gameplay were incredible. One of my favorite games last gen. I would gladly have more of the same

As much as I need Fallout 4 in my life... A remastered F3 for next gen consoles would be a wonderful thing as well. But yeah... This has to be a Fallout 4 announcement. Pretty sure we are still a few years away from getting any kind of TES6 news as well.

A "remastered" Skyrim would probably be the PC game with the high res texture pack they released for it. Possibly some model tweaks. It isn't as much a leap as I'd hoped from the old console versions. Well, I mean, it *is* vastly better. But still not knock-your-socks-off amazing.

That was my reaction 18 months ago anyways, I can't imagine I'd be more impressed today.

They've had a few years off now (the ES/FO guys) so hopefully they've been brewing something amazing. And hopefully they've got someone onboard that can build and rig facial models that are less Pinnochio.

I remember Fallout 3 devouring every second of my spare time. FO4. Let it be.

I dunno. Games have moved on. The characters were shite on release, they REALLY don't stand up to scrutiny now. Also the world has lost some of its luster.

As I say, if you have access to a PC just whack it on there with the HD textures and it's effectively a remaster anyway.

Hmmm
I have it on PC, I need to do some mucking about to stop it crashing under W8 IIRC.
Is the HD Texture pack official or a mod?

Does it have all the GPUs and processing megahurts though?!

If you're trying to run it on an intel GPU embedded in the CPU then you're bound to have poor framerates
