That was never CDPR model anyways.
Both Witcher 1 and 2 got enchanced makeover and it was free for those who already own the game.

I also haven't done the dlc, might be time for a replay.

Maybe I will finally finish this game and the DLC I paid for and never started.

Hearts of Stone at least is very, very worthwhile. Blood and Wine is good too, I was just thoroughly burned out by the time I got to it.

I played at launch so came back to it relatively fresh for both bits of DLC. They're both well worth playing IMO. Great antagonist in HoS and nice sense of completion with BaW.

Looking forward to coming back to it with a 3080!

After five years and two purchases, I still haven't finished the main game. I'm right at the very end though, so will probably get to it sometime this year.

Yeah, I made it to the last part too (it certainly felt like it) but somehow lost momentum. It's not the easiest game to dive back into after several years away.

Both dlc are amazing. Never played them more than once though, looks like I now know when I will. :)

I just started playing this. I got it with both expansion packs for 11 quid.

I'm a terrible person to invite into your hut as I loot any peasant dwelling no matter what trauma they've endured.

There's no other way to RPG!

I feel I offset my shifty looting ways by not taking payment from poor villagers though.

I have always thought this is hilarious if not misplaced in RPG's
"Yes I will undertake your quest...right after I have nicked ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING of any value in your homestead/Barn,Privvy" etc ;)

On the subject of the dlc add me to the list of never playing but owning for years. Is Yennefer in it, dang she is hot. I have completed the main game however.

She's potentially in Blood and Wine, depending on the choices you made during the main game.

Yeah sorry, I spent the last two games with Triss. And I felt pretty comfortable with that relationship, regardless of them trying to force-feed the canon partner to me in Witcher 3. I didn't know Yen, and it felt really weird that she just showed up out of nowhere as the "true love".

I will say, though, that the bit where you reject Yen is far rougher than the scene with Triss.

Triss is just a door mat. You should want a stronger woman to keep you in check, especially true for a character like Geralt. :). Loved the ending of blood & wine so much, such a great send off. Both dlc need to be played again. I completed main game earlier this year for the second time but was burnt out.

If you havenít played blood and wine there is a section in a messed up version of a fairytale land.

The drunk french werewolf from the red riding hood tale is absolutely hilarious.

Triss would be my preference - Iíve always had a thing for redheads, plus she is a lot nicer than Yen.

I think I have fucked up my PS4 playthrough by romancing both of them though.

Yep you'll get none now and that's what you deserve you pig!! :).

I've reinstalled it so it's on the pile of 15 ish games I need to play.

Not seen any mentions to how great the soundtrack is. Personal favourite is the witches of the bog track.

I also romanced both and ended up with neither.

I tend to prefer Triss though. I started the series with the second game, then played the first, then started reading the novels, then played the third when it launched.

So I know Yenn is the canon true love, but I just preferred Triss' personality. Plus I'd gone through two games romancing her anyway.

Also have had the expansions for years but have not played through them. I actually made a fair amount of progress on Hearts of Stone awhile back, but when my PS4 Pro died, I lost hours of gameplay and have not gone back since.

It's good! But I actually prefer the second game's soundtrack. Dwarven Stone Upon Dwarven Stone is a highlight.

For me The Vagabond from W3 was an amazing track, it's the one that always comes to mind when I think of this game: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QF6CCZ5csck

Oh and Bichii, we've been through this before, Triss>>>>>>>>>Yen 😜.

Look you lot, yen is not a bitch. She's been through a lot and is just a bit defensive. Triss is just your average skank down the local wetherspoons. Yen has class and although she can be hard work you'll be rewarded far more in the long run. Yen gives you that quality bantz back and forth fun. Triss is just a yes girl. I just hope for your sake neither of their beauty charms wear off.
