Both are great, but for me Triss wins. Was really odd, I actually had a crush on her playing the game. First time I have had a crush on a fictional character. Also Yen had no chill, the bitch reported me to the middle of a lake for wearing her clothes and not apologising. Oh and I too have a thing for red heads! Registered 12 years ago@Bichii while I didn't find any of W3 romance too convincing anyway, I liked Yen less than Triss. Class? Those "quality bantz" turned things downwards rather than upwards if you catch my drift. Yen is just annoying AF. -

Registered 15 years agoThere's a quest around the middle of the game, the "optimal" solution for which involves winning a tournament. This being Witcher 3, though, there are plenty of other solutions. -

Registered 14 years agoI've FINALLY got round to installing this. 15 hours (ish) in, and I've just finished White Orchard, because I can't leave a question mark unticked, and because there's enough info out there on a six year old game to show me where the sekrits are. It's surprisingly soothing just mooching around in the woods, smacking the occasional ghoul in its chops.
Think I'll stick with Yen- there's a touch of Hermione Norris or Emila Fox about her, which tickles my fancy.

Registered 6 years agoI really liked that you can just mooch about and stumble across things rather than it being wall to wall monsters and bandits whenever you try to get anywhere.
If anything I’d have liked fewer monsters so that it felt more fairy tale and exceptional -

It is a brilliant game, and I have still yet to start the dlc! -

Yeah, the prospect of helping her commit genocide via a biological weapon made me want to fuck her brains out too.

What's that? Your village is besieged by monsters and the children snatched ? I'll get right on that...

There's a free-to-play Gwent game from the Witcher dev available on pretty much all platforms. It's called... wait for it... Gwent.

I'm not into it myself so I don't care for either that or Thronebreaker but I hear the latter's also great for a Gwent fan.
It's more of a sequence of tactical challenges based on Gwent mechanics (though it's very similar to that game) from what I understand. -

Registered 4 years agoThrone beaker is a brilliant brilliant game and I didn't like Gwent much. This version of Gwent is far more dynamic and the story is great with excellent characters throughout. Tough decisions along with way that affect your army (deck). -

Registered 6 years agoAll card games in real life and as in-game mini games are Go Johnny Go-Go Go Go to me. Hate that I get forced to do them as drawn out tutorials and then avoid at every opportunity once thats out of the way.
They’re always such a chore.
