I think it looks far worse. It looks like a parody movie.

If they make a good movie, they can fuck around with the timeline as much as they want for all I care.

I mean, it probably won't be a good movie, but the reason for its shitness isn't likely to be the time travel not making sense.

Anyone think this be better than Terminator 3? Watch below...

There's another equally awful clip online now too.

Regardless, I'm going to see it on opening night at the 3D IMAX. I just have to know how bad it really is.

    The first two are great.

On it's own terms Terminator 3 is kind of fun. Yes, it should have taken itself a bit more seriously ('talk to the hand'), but I actually liked the whole 'inevitable' aspect to the ending.

Salvation had it's moments but the story was a nonsensical mess.

This one I'm not sure about. Arnie has forgotten how to act (He was fine in the first couple, given the role). And Jai Courtney is no Michael Biehn. I have low expectations.

Still think that looked better than T3.

(not that this looks good, mind).

Probably the most shocking revelation about this film so far : James Cameron LIKES IT!?

I can only assume he gets a cut of the box office....

Considering he probably likes Avatar considering he made that hunk of shite, I'd take him liking this as proof that this is absolute toilet.

Terrible. Not your comment, agreeing about the trailer. Looked like a B movie remake of Terminator 2.

It wasn't just the callbacks, they seemed to get in every plot point in the movie.

Now everyone knows John is the bad guy and he is made of nanites or some shit like that.

There's a 'meerkats movie' advert you can watch if you want to get a modern Arnie experience without the bother of going to the cinema and spending useful money on idiot-bait like this.

We all sneer at it, but we all know that we're going to watch it, and love to hate it.

I'm not sure knowing John is the antagonist is a bad thing. It's a hook of the film and, so far, the most interesting thing about it.

Remove that from the trailer and what do you have? We still know that it's a rehash of the first film but with nothing actually interesting about it.

Everyone's acting like it's spoilt some big twist. Stop looking at it like that and it makes sense that they'd want to show us what the film is actually about. No-one here was interested in seeing it before they showed it so what's the problem? At least now there's some intrigue about how and why he's turned evil, and that's more interesting than all the knowing-winks to the first two films they'd showed before hand.

@Derblington - so, in summary, what you are saying is that if your movie is wank, you might as well give away the ending in the trailer?

No, because this isn't the ending. It looks like it happens pretty early in considering he's the antagonist.
The original T-800 (young Arnie, from the first film) is obviously going to get fucked up pretty quick, and then John takes the role.

Yes, if you were going in blind there'd be a WTF? moment but I don't think it's actually the big spoiler like you all seem to be making out.

They actually did in a T3 deleted scene!

I always assumed Skynet was unable to hire good voice actors and made do with emulation...
