Registered 13 years agoI'm sure i'll end up buying an xbox 360 2 anyway, but at the moment i think this might be one launch that passes me by.
I just don't have the ability to play games in front of the telly anymore, i'm much more confined to laptop gaming (which i dont mind).
the 360 and ps3 and wii(lol) just sit unused under the TV, the 360 isnt even plugged in at the moment, and thats despite having uncharted 3 and gears 3 both of which i do want to play.
I just can't come home and monopolise the TV for 5 hours, its a bit unfair. -

Registered 12 years agoI just hope I can be wow'd like I was when I first clapped eyes on the original Halo and then with the 360 Project Gotham 3.
I'm preparing myself for the next Gen to allow for something along the lines of a full fat Battlefield 3 experience on console, which I suppose isn't anything to be sniffed at. However I really hope that my socks will be well and truly blown off again! -

Registered 11 years agoI don't think any of the initial batch of games will wow anyone, I'm expecting a load of up ressed, possibly 60fps ports. -

Registered 12 years agoI'm struggling to think what they could do that would wow me. The first thing that impressed me this gen was the number of zombies on screen at once in Dead Rising, nothing really matched that since. More shiny does little for me now, I'll need to see something gameplay wise that looks impossible currently to really be wowed. What the hell that would be I don't know.
I know nothing will ever match that first experience of 3D graphics, playing Virtua Fighter 2 and Sega Rally on my new Saturn. -
