No way is it sastard. I reckon it's 1980s hostage sensation Terry Waite. -

Registered 9 years agoWasn't Sastard banned for having a racist meltdown? It was a couple of year ago, so my memory is hazy.
Also: whatever happened to Pepsipop?

Registered 5 years agoWatching the dross that is Saturday Kitchen, it's made me realise that kids today will never get to watch a show like live & kicking/SMTV/Going Live. They'll never get to see a pop band interact awkwardly with the child audience in a Q&A section, watch a 20 minute cartoon broken up into 4 parts or play a totally fixed phone in telephone game shouting "up, up, up, UP!!!" while the character onscreen does the total opposite. Ahhh halycon days they were. -

Registered 9 years agoHaha. I used to love those phone in games. A few years after, Sky TV added them to their service, controlled by remote. They were awful.
I quite like Saturday Kitchen, if for no other reason than I generally like watching cookery ahows
I do miss the Big Breakfast though. -

Registered 10 months agoWe have been looking into moving so I was doing some calculations last night. I asked the wife how much DLA and other benefits we get for Katy and Grace and I was fucking shocked at the figure. You could tell she didn't want to tell me. Fack me I'm still in shock now lol. -

Substantially more. Not that I'm complaining. It means they both get what they need. Some of the sensory stuff is bloody expensive. -

Registered 1 year agoOh, that's good news...not that you need it in the first place , but good that it's more than you thought.

Haha funny you should say that. The wife has got hooked on rhythm paradise on the 3ds and wants to get the original one and rhythm thief.
Grace likes to scratch and spin the DS/3ds cases as well so it's win win

The bbc revived exactly this show over the last 6 months. I believe the first series only just ended.

That was well wank. I vaguely remember one called Motormouth. Also what were those two unfunny 'comedians' on Going Live called? Trev and Simon was it? They were desperately unfunny.

I think some of those were BBC and some were ITV. Pretty sure SMTV was the ITV rival to Going Live (GMTV being their weekday breakfast show).
I still remember waking up at 6am on weekdays to watch an hour of cartoons on C4. Sharkey and George, cities of gold, ulysses, and I think the mario cartoon was part of the rotation at some point
