Mmm my pre op check didn't go too well. Ended up having blood tests for Diabetes and my (always high) blood pressure was sky high so unless that comes down before the op they will cancel it :/
I'm seeing my doc later today and will get him to give me more drugs for it. Oh and they also mentioned they are putting a plastic stent in as well. Ffs that wasn't mentioned previously.

    Don't dillydally.

Some magnesium citrate to help break down the calcium won't go amiss either. Miraculous recovery.

Read the reviews, some good info in there.

Love Island is amazing. When it's on my girlfriend goes to bed at 9 every night to watch it meaning I get to masturbate and play pooter games.

My housemate seems to go to work, come home, clean clean clean, and do at least a load of laundry per day. She no longer reads because she uses audio books so she has more time in her bid to make the place cleaner than an operating theatre.

    Fucking mentaller.

As I get older I find a lack of empathy in people increasingly disturbing. As you get older surely you've been through hard times and had people shitty towards you, why would you willingly inflict that on other people if you don't have to?

It's symptomatic of isolation, which has been increasing in the last 20 years or so due to the internet and so on, which also breeds a sense of hostility because anonymity means no consequences for being a cunt.

Just handed in my notice at work, and was partially accepted. As of next week I will be part time on 2 days a week in my day job. The other 3 days are the start of my contracting career. Aim is long term to have 7 or so clients, each with 3-4 days a months consultancy work.

A weird mix of utter dread now and excitement. Got a 6 month, 2 day a week contract, another for 2 days a month and potentially another 4 days a month in the pipeline.

Been working my way up the work ladder for 20 years now and am so tired of office politics and the daily grind. Probably the riskiest thing I have ever done, really hope I don't end up regretting it.

Always make the client wear a condom and have regular tests and you'll be fine.

"Partially accepted"? Perhaps that works out OK - at least giving you some steady income as you build things!

Okay, that genuinely made me laugh.

    Good work!
