Today I am going to a YBN Nahmir gig with my son. It was his 11th birthday present.

I am not sure it is going to be my thing.

After buying the tickets, I gave it a listen, and no kidding the first line on the first song on Spotify was:

    "Lately been on that f##k a n###a sh#t (f##k a n###a sh#t)
Take a n###a b##ch and then I pass her to the clique (grrah, pow, pow, pow)"

    😞😞😞

I won't take my kids to anything besides Mr Tumble until they're 18.

I thought those above lyrics were to a Mr Tumble song?

That's shocking. You should offer your clique first go on some of the n###a b##ches

I sometimes pass things like old clothes I no longer wear to the clique, never thought to share any of the n###a b##ches though

I can now confirm that the song in question, Bounce Out With That, is genuinely and hilariously awful

I wonder if a n###a b##ch shared is a n###a b##ch halved, as the old ghetto idiom states, and if therefore that's how Jay-Z ended up with 99.5 problems

You know what they say, a n###a b##ch passed to the clique is worth two n###a b##ches not passed to the clique

Anyway, however relaxed he is, Mikki sounds like a cool dad.

I wouldn't take my 11 year old to a gig like that - especially after hearing those lyrics!

I am now really, really not looking forward to this YBN business.

They are performing at the Academy 3 which is really small (400 people). I think that makes it even worse.

I am now desperatly trying to think of ways of getting out of it. Bugger.

And when he wakes up tell him he really had a good time. He was pow, pow, pow-ing all over the place. Like a trooper.

    Better get tooled up.

Give your son a blade as well. He won't do any time because of his age.

To be fair this rapperís only 18. I canít imagine a lot of older people wanted to listen to a kid. If your lad likes him there will probably be loads of other kids. You can stand at the back with all the other parents and shake your head in time with the music.

Given how fucking difficult I find it to light my wood fire, it makes me wonder how house fires can actually be a thing, it literally is hard work to make wood catch on fire

Having said that there are a lot of 16 year olds on my estate that look like they could beat the shit out of me.

Maybe just a roll of coins and your best trainers to be on the safe side.

Haven't you heard the idiom that people who live in wood houses shouldn't throw stones that are on fire.
