I had my phone battery swapped this week and was without it for a day and a half. Told a couple of people I could be emailed if needed and, apart from that small inconvenience- it was fucking bliss.

Omeran Amirat†said he had been a loyal O2 customer for a long time. He said he had bids on eBay on Thursday morning but he could not do them because the O2 network was down. "It's Christmas, the budget's tight for me, there were presents I was supposed to be buying for my daughter and my son on eBay today. They've gone now."

He said he had lost the bids and "O2 are responsible"

To be fair it's easy to see how reliant we are on them. I've had to make loads of calls today and it's been really inconvenient trying do it on various landlines thoughout the day at the office. Then I really needed my sat nav to get somewhere new and got totally lost. It's like the dark ages again! :)

I thought it was just the data that wasnt working? I've received a few calls today (I know, I'm a bit of a big shot) and I'm on Sky mobile, which use O2.

"Sorry kids Christmas is cancelled because I refuse to use something like a computer or tablet which is not connected to O2's network to get the bids on your presents. Obviously I would have probably been outbid by someone else even if had phone data but I definitely deserve compensation. "

I'm looking forward to the compensation to be fair. My data is £7.50 a month, so i reckon i should get 1/30th of that back.

Now just to decide what to spend it on.

Just go to a coffee shop and use WiFi you lazy fuck

Well my o2 phone has been "no service" all day, and my partner said her phone has been on and off all day and she's with Tesco mobile. I wouldn't mind if it was just data (apart from the one time I wanted to use sat nav)

Voice calls werenít impacted by the problem as far as Iím aware but the lack of 3G and 4G would have definitely caused congestion on the remaining network. I had no service at one point but it quickly came back

I do live an a high usage area. A guy who works with me also had no service on his o2 as well. His wife came in to pick him up from work and was really annoyed with him for not calling her.

Still he used as an excuse to get a game of pubg in.

I smashed up and skipped a rotten old shed using a sledgehammer and my own gloved hands today. In the driving wind and rain.

    Felt good
    Felt pure

My bath afterwards was too hot.

4G just reappeared for me. Wasnít the end of the world but definitely had to take safe route home this morning from work - sat nav normally takes me random ways to avoid traffic.

I then had to make a public transport journey which involved me planning it on WiFi at home and taking loads of pictures to get me through the route.

Got to Victoria early and asked random rail guy at barriers if there was quicker train and he didnít have a fucking scooby. I was going to a random overground station and he told me I needed the central line and to Ďcheck downstairs.í Clearly didnít know fuck all, which I guess is due to them not being asked as often.

Fuck those idiots who are bleating though. Shit happens. As people have said thereís plenty of cafes with internet. That guy saying Christmas had been ruined because he couldnít get on eBay was some kind of a ball bag.

Did make me realise how navigationally challenged I am without my phone though. I remember the good old days when my folks used to have to pull over and ask directions and almost without fail got the local fuckwit.

I have a friend like that. He regularly gets £50-100 compensation off various utility companies for complaining about EVERYTHING.

Sky mobile are compensating their customers for the data outage. Just had a text saying that by way of apology they're giving people a free day of unlimited data tomorrow.

I didn't know she'd used all the water until I was actually in the shower.

I believe our hot water heating turns off at about 9pm, and we both had showers after that. =/

@elstoof I seen a clip of it and he's saying the Syrian boy is the bully and has threatened to rape people. He interviewed a 'parent' of someone who was bullied by the Syrian boy.
