I'm probably down for the alcoholism, but less inclined towards the anal fisting.

    It's early days yet though.

No Nails adhesive works pretty well.

I've found that gouging generally does not help with tears.

What the hell has happened to 6:30pm Radio 4 comedies? As funny as an anal fissure these days.

You work the fingers in first, then form the fist once the hand is entirely through the breach

Is that the one at Olympia? One of my mates is up at that, was it not good?

No. Itís a very low key thing around Farringdon. Five one mile laps. End of each lap is a different pint and a different pub snack (pork pie, sausage roll, etc. etc.). All in the name of charidee but only 200 people or so each year.

Beat my previous best, but I think this is then end of the punishing road for me. :)

Olympia is the Great British Beer Festival. Similarly boozy (and I was there midweek) but zero running. ;-)

That last mile sounds like it might be tricky.

Can you take the drink and snack with you and walk the lap or do you need to finish both and then run?

Itís not super serious. But by tradition both have to be consumed before the next lap begins. Some nutters finish under 30 minutes.

Bizarre. My internet fault was due to beetles eating through the fibre optic. Apparently it's happened a lot lately.

Of course your house would be the one to have fibre optic eating beetles
