I'm still in the dark as to why someone's personal troubles would prompt them to delete their account on a forum of a web site about video games.

If they thought the web site forum contributed to their unhappiness and yet they found it hard to break the habit of going there without doing something like deleting their account to make it more difficult.

    Hope that helps

Good point. And it almost makes it sound as if the regulars on here are a bunch of cunts.

Which, come to think of it, we are.

Eurogamer is a distraction from peopleís problems. Sometimes when the problems get too much itís best to remove all distractions and focus on the cause of the problems.

Also, you find yourself getting angry about little things and the forum becomes a storm in the teacup.

Has anyone ever fell so far from grace as Aung San Suu Kyi?

I think in her case it's more that we have massively (and unrealistically) inflated expectations of our Nobel Peace Prize winners, and are utterly shocked when they turn out to be normal, flawed, fallible human beings. She's not perfect, and is in a really tricky situation politically.

The "fallen from grace" thing only applies to her international reputation anyway. Locally she's seen as a saint, basically.

Has the peace prize meant anything since Henry Kissinger?

Not if you're paying attention. But it's still a thing for some reason.

Ice cream is disgusting when warm, just sugary milk.
As a kid I enjoyed the melted ice cream gathered at the bottom of the bowl when it was nearly finished.

To get more of that melted ice cream goodness, I decided to get two scoops and then microwave them to get a whole bowl of yummy melted ice cream.
It was very warm, very runny and very sweet. Sugary milk is a good description.

I think I only did it once. The thicker just melted ice cream is waaay better.

Lets pretend that, hey... I didn't actually watch his shows because I was too busy playing video games or reading.

I'm guessing Grax blocked out what Jimmy did to him. All Grax remembers is that he was 'playing video games' with a very warm joystick.
