@quadfather ha ha, awesome man. Let me know your thoughts after you have a proper shot of it.

I eh, may have that Saxophone on its way to me.
    a) it's brilliant
    b) it's *really* fucking briliant
    c) So glad you got the Saxophone :)

Yeah think it excited me more than another bass as it is something completely new. Not played a woodwind instrument before and also, this with my trumpet and the punk stuff = ska.

Can't wait to hear once you have some of this bass station recorded.

@Not-a-reviewer nope no pictures. If its a high value item it will generally require a signature (which we have to do on behalf on the customer at the moment). If the person isn't in when we deliver you state a location where it is left, if it isn't one of the default options then you have to scan an info notice and pop it through the letterbox or put it to an access point. Quaddys issue is that he has waived the need for a signature, however as I said before the exact location where it has been scanned will be available to UPS as well as where the driver said he left it.

We've just got a puppy. Holy shit, I think this may have more of an impact on my life than the birth of either of my children.

So overcome with emotion I stammered on the 'Post a comment' button.

I've petitioned the family to call it Nipples, because that'll be fun to shout in the park.

You can’t go talking about a puppy without providing photographic evidence. Dog tax.

There are a few dogs around here with pretty normal human names like Neil.

Who the fuck calls a dog Neil when they could call it Nipple instead?

I know your sort. I post a photo of Dave Nipples Mimsy Nathaniel Daniel the Spaniel (the third) on the internet, and some fucker will dognap him faster than you can blink. He is SUCH a good boy. He's the BEST boy, who also ate his own vomit in the car on the way over from the breeder. Then puked it back up again. Oldest son was deeply impressed.

Our cat, Nancy Tubbs Kitina ( the second) has spent the entire day swearing under the sofa. Big fan.

"Hey, I'd like to upgrade my phone plan, as I'm hitting my monthly data limit sooner than I'd like"

"Ok... so, it looks like you've been on your current one for a while. I've got one here that is $1 a month cheaper and has 4 times the amount of data"

    "..."

"Oh, but it doesn't have free international SMS"

    O_o

Any site I can use to randomly pick me items from a list, or should I just use excel?

What you need to do is write the item down on a piece of paper, pop it in an envelope and post it to yourself along with an envelope for every other item on the list. First one you get back in the post is the winner.

Shove it in a csv and use Powershell.

    $items = Import-CSV -path c:\whereever.csv

    Get-Random -inputobject $items

Ta. Rob's method would work for the fun aspect, but I need to do it every 45 mins. :p

Then yeah, powershell and task scheduler is the best bet. Or if you're an M365 shop, a SharePoint list and PowerAutomate will be even more hands off.

Garden rooms.I want to build one as a project this spring, do they all have to be 6-10k if insulated and decent quality? I feel like I’m missing a trick, fuck me, they’re expensive.

If someone you knew had to give up both his kids to his ex this weekend after being sole carer since they split just over a year ago and they live 8 hours drive away how would you help them?
