    Anyway...

I don't know if this is a result of the pandemic or just random chance, but for whatever reason mullets are back in fashion here. And it's the worst.

One of my friends hasn’t just got a lockdown mullet, he’s got an impressive lockdown rats tail.

I don't even really care about fashion that much, but for some reason mullets just enrage me.

Yeah, Australia. So there's always been a bit of mullet around, but it hasn't been this bad for a long time.

I kind of get it with the schoolkids, because they're just copying their sporting heroes and whatnot. But adults should be more responsible.

I was proudly sporting a mullet through the entire '80s and thought it was the best haircut ever. Life has punished me by taking most of my hair away by the time I was 35 so I now just shave it all.

I'm making up for it with a luscious beard, mostly gray by now unfortunately.

    @DrStrangelove

Hope you're reading this pal, you wrote some very kind words about me yesterday and I wanted to respond in kind.

No need for all the apologies either, it's me who should be apologising - totally forgot about our time on CS:GO together, your post got the memories flooding back! You, me, Jazzy Rigbone, Mekanik and Duffking actually won a few - it was a great laugh. It was nice having someone else on the team who was just as shit and self-deprecating as me whilst the other three carried us :) Especially when we convinced Mekanik to get his 'l33t' son on board!

Like you said, people care about you so joke's on you, you'll just have to live with it - I'll miss you mate, look after yourself and (selfishly, for me) pop in from time to time and let us know how you're getting on. Best of luck.

Oh, right, DrStrangelove leaving... I don't think we ever wrote directly at each other but he was a fine poster and seems like a fine human. I will be missing his output and would be glad of his return.

Get the ultimate mullet. Like a sort of hulk hogan minus the side bits.

What sort of hillbilly backwards places are you living in with mullets and curtains?

There's definitely some ironic mullets I've seen around even in the Midlands.

What upsets me most is the lads' haircut du jour seems to be nothing on the sides, loads up top, which unsettles me greatly. It looks like a 70s mental hospital haircut straight out of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Or like someone's had a hairy crap right on top of your head.

The policewoman giving a statement to the press about the dead guy who suicided by cop in Washington, spouting the usual American 15 words when 1 will do, says 'At this time, the suspect has been pronounced deceased'. So that might change.

    +1 here for team mullet.

If you've got it flaunt it.

My hair’s gotten pretty long over lockdown and now I’ve got options. I can either have a badass mullet or go for the topknot
