...well should i? Jiro wont let me get Kazza or anything because of the viruses and stuff that are on those networks so im thinking of getting napster. Its £9.95 a month and i think thats for unlimited downloads? i know other people who have it and they speak very fondly of it and are always trying to sell it to me. anyone here have it? or had any experiences with it?

You should try other options first. Soulseek is a decent one, but it does take some time to actually download something.

Yeah, you get unlimited downloads for that, but they're limited to your computer, you can't burn them on to CD or transfer them to a player. Apparently a new model is coming (it's tied to WMP 10, and is available in the US now), but I don't know what 'rights' that will confer on you the user...

Try MP3downloading . com, they charge £0.66 a month for 2 year membership or about £24 for life. No tricks, all files are usable anyhow you want and th service is excellent.

Also a massive selection of available stuff, movies, cracks, mp3s, all my south parks came from there, unlimited downloads, real customer service with PEOPLE who answer the phone and seemed very well trained to boot.

yeah iw ould prefer something legit. It doesnt matter too much just now if the tracks are locked to the pc as i dont have an mp3 player or cd player but i am planning on one in the near future...

ive tryed soulseek and i thought it was utter bollocks. took about 30 mins for 1 song when i was using it!

My mate's got that version. He says it's really good. One-off payment (very cheap) and a better service. Go for it.

    I recommend this http://www.musicmatch.com/

It's really good and you basically stream all the music you want but you can also download songs you really like. It has a load of good features too. You should at least try out the free jukebox.

    http://www.musicmatch.com/download/plus/jukebox_intro.htm?OS=pc&MODE=input&BTD=1&DID=

I've got that. I only use it to put music on my MP3 player. Even then it's a cunt so I stick to RealPlayer 10.5.
