    Or my basketball sized head.

    Tbh, unless I am specifically 'listening to music' and just jacking in for the day, I tend to grab the most comfy set I have which is, fortunately, my PC headset, a pair of HyperX Cloud Alphas. I can wear those literally all day with no break.

    They are a great all rounder. Music and media sound good, they are superb for gaming and they are mega-comfy.

    WOULD RENCOMENDED

    Ahhh. I had some of Hyper X Cloud II and ended up getting rid of them for DT770s + an Antlion Modmic for gaming. The 770s are great as we know, but the Modmic kept falling off because the adhesive pads wouldn't stick well to the texture ear covers of the 770s. Was a real PITA.

    Now got the Corsair Wireless Virtuosos and whilst they sound good enough for gaming and the mic is good, boy do they have a strong head clamping effect. Which is pretty staggering considering the size of the cans and the headband.

    You want to see something (possibly) interesting....?

    TLDR: Hyperx cloud and cloud 2 are rebadged takstar pro 80, which are very faithful Beyerdynamic 770 clones (the alpha isnt, its a new set of drivers).

    What are you all using for storage or stands for your headphones? I've been looking around for something to put on my desk to hold 2 sets, can't find anything other than cheap tat.

    Don't get me wrong, cheap's OK, just wanted something a little ornamental too.
    I don't quite know how I've ended up where I am, but I've just completed an order for some carbon fiber parts from a manufacturer in the USA. They usually do precision industrial parts.

    Going to make my own stand, after seeing this and thinking I could do something better. I also don't like the finish on 3D printed things.

    So, I'll let you know how I get on when the stuff arrives. It's completely nuts, and overkill, but...

    Grovemade are the cats pyjamas. I've got a number of their products and would recommend them to anyone looking for something a bit special.

    Thanks Banana, but again, I was after something for 2 headphones, and after seeing what's out there, I'm, still not seeing anything I'm connecting with so I am still going down the 'make my own' path.

    Those grovemade stands do look the part though, 100%

    @bananaforscale

    I like a lot of their stuff. Bit of an arse having to import from the US though.

    Ha. I'll have a proper look at this tomorrow. Although find the idea a bit odd just given the disparity in ear cup sizes between the DT770 and the Cloud 2s (latter seemed much smaller to me, but admittedly could be memory fog).
