Registered 16 years agoI wouldn't be too surprised if you got pre-order stuff anyway - most times I've got something from GAME on or around launch day, they give out whatever pre-order bonus there is anyway, such as the Crackdown 2 armour colours or a Pokemon Guide.
No guarantee though, but hopefully.gif)

Registered 16 years agoNot sure if it's been mentioned a few pages back but Syfy/Trion have posted the first 14 minutes of episode 1 on their site. It's region locked but Unblock US worked for me.

I did it anyway, as I do it with all games, yet I loaded it up and it's doing a completely seperate in-game installation now too. -

Not a huge amount of point in a big manual, from what we've heard from the couple of PC betas there will be dynamic changes to both the game and the UI. -

Registered 16 years agoThey'll probably have them up on iTunes quickly. I don't use that so will watch it on other sources. I saw the 14 minutes on good ol' YouTube, which I posted in the Defiance TV thread though I have no doubt it'll be removed by now.
I popped up to my local ASDA to see if they had any of Friday's new games. All the have even vaguely new is Bioshock Infinite, except a good few boxes for Defiance. Given the lack of new releases, that surprised me quite a lot. Pre-order boxes for this, in among the new games. It could be a sleeper hit. Or maybe not, I don't know. -

Registered 16 years agoI knew full well from the postage option I chose it wouldn't get here by tomorrow. I still do. But I hoped, man. I hoped so hard! I thought it'd just happen anyway.
I can totally see me buying it on Steam too. I'm of 2 minds though. It's pricey as heck given I'd basically be paying £35 for:
Phoenix Sniper Rifle
"Steam Powered" title
+10 Inventory Slots
A lockbox
A-Tex Growler vehicle
RM Nomad M4 vehicle
Rift: Storm Legion (I don't have Rift)
And crucially, I can play tomorrow!
Everything else I still get if I'm patient. But I'm not patient

I can't comment on your patience, I cancelled my Amazon order a few days ago and picked up the digital edition from GMG because I was convinced the postie would fail me. Despite never having a good day 1 experience with any MMO I can't help myself...
