Yeah got one or two mods on helping and unlocked the obvious shit around blur. I like the sound of intimidation tho, so I'll have a nose now.

Anyone around on 360 to help with the medera pursuits?

The old pump and shoots get a melee bonus early on, don't know about the higher levels

Will be back on Xbox later today for a session. Need around another 2000 combat shotgun kills for one of the pursuits

Purchased yesterday from Greenman Gaming at Ł20 on PC. Loving it so far. My expectations were low but after an episode of the schlocky show and this forum I thought I would dive in. It maybe as I am post patch but absolutely no problems connecting or setting up so far. I like the systems in play (though I have no idea how modding works!) and I am enjoying trying to get to each mission without too many distractions.

If there is an EG clan I would love to join but still a bit of a newb currently. I did find a nice Dodge in my 'to be claimed' file which was a surprise given my late purchase. Any idea how to find more Ark codes (is this in game at ark sites?). On the whole I am really enjoying it. Barely scratched the surface and I am 6 hours invested already (I completed Bioshock in 9!).

If reviews could encapsulate time having fun for money then this would be a 10. Rough around the edges but has some legs. Certainly will be playing alongside the TV show for the season. I have heard people complain that this maybe irrelevant if the show doesn't get renewed but to be honest I devoured Tomb Raider in 2 weeks and if this runs for 13 or 24 weeks then I am a happy punter.

Now to find the next Ark fall ...

There is an EG Clan, though it's nigh on useless just now given Clan chat doesn't work. You need to be online at the same time too, but we'll get it done

Maybe all the chat is close proximity type chat. Was in area chat on Xbox and silence, got to within 200m of an Arkfall then heard around 6 people chatting away. Mainly a drunken argument about why do we always have to shoot at big enemy bosses armpits

Height Advantage is the one for when you're higher (logical enough) and I think unaware enemy is Ambush, though I don't think Ambush work if they're already in combat with someone else.

Not had much chance to play for the last week but had a quick blast for an hour last night. Still fun, had a quick solo arkfall which was a blast and respecced in an attempt to get over to Overcharge to unlock that, though I'm thinking now Decoy might be a better choice.

I had been using Ambush, Hunters stance and Height advantage on my Sniper too, but theres not often when you get more than one shot off on something out of combat so ditched that train of thought for Execution (15% shield recharge on critical kill), Shadow strike (30% DMG cloaked), killing spree (extend Ego duration on kill) and Preparedness (Stowed weapon reloads over time) and had some fun with that, main build swaps between sniper and Assault rifle.

Still got a jack of all trades skill tree. Still getting the unequipping last perk loadout bug. Once that's fixed I can make more indepth seperate perk loadouts

Just gone for more health,quicker self revive recharge, take less damage, dealing damage refreshes ego recharge quicker,explosives detonate further away(still not sure if that works all the time, when it does its pretty good),one other I can't remember and swap in deal extra explosive damage to enemies caught in a explosion for my overcharge character

Aahh that might explain it, last time I played was some shadow wars stuff. That's annoying I was really chuffed with that gun too. It had some nice buffs.

I actually heard someone chatting on the mic at an arkfall last night too. It was quite a shock, the first time I have heard any voice chat. Most folk just seem to use the quick chat/emote type options. We're getting there, hopefully after a fwe more patches it'll be much better.

Has anyone spotted any new episodic missions btw? I haven't spotted any since finishing last week's stuff.

@TipTop On the first post of this thread DFawkes has kindly added a doc which contains all the ark codes you could possibly want. It's well worth it as you can get some nice stuff and bonuses to get you started.

You just need to remember to claim them from the defiance store in the UI once you next log in.

Did my first co-op last night,breezed through what was thrown at us.Impressive looking boss Motherlode? Damaged the weak points,then could not make a dent in it.Made it destroy all the crystals on the floor.But none of us could figure out what to do so I gave up.

Don't know how far in I joined the group but my inventory filled up with equipment pretty quickly.

To beat mother lode boss

Shoot weak point on knees, when each is destroyed he goes down on one knee and you shoot his glowing ironman style chest

After both knees are done, there are power nodes on his shoulders/back area. Destroy one and its the old kneel down shoot him in the chest. After that he goes mad and you keep shooting him in the chest

Unless your boss fight was bugged

Finding there is more loot in co op missions now, plus getting couple of mods after completing each one

There's certainly a 360 clan, not that I have joined anyone in game yet. I should do that soon, but have just been pootling about trying to rank up a bit and get some decent gear.

Hell, at the level fletch is on by now he can probably tank it all, while I just try and shoot at the stragglers!

There's a PC clan too, but not sure if staffydog or others have started up a PSN one or not.

yeah there is a 360 clan up, will send a friend and clan invite later. Have promoted everyone in the clan so I think anyone in the clan can invite you as well.

We haven't started a clan, yet. Far as I can see we are only a few PSN-players here, as of yet. I haven't played much this week, because work. But we should team up for a coop-map on the weekend, I reckon. Hope the chat works.
