It is similar in that it's a lot more concerned about keeping people relatively happy rather than just building stuff. Obviously if people are really unhappy you can always have them arrested and put into a lovely re-education er happiness adjustment facility (prison) or they may have an accident from unhappiness (secret police) or you may just shoot them if they rebel. I don't think that's possible in Theme Park. ![]() Edited by Whizzo at 20:02:51 14-03-2013 |

Registered 13 years agoI used to trap thugs in fenced off prisons in Theme Park, just set up a line of clowns to tempt them, then trap them at the end of a path
could set up a small zoo of them for other guests to see! -

Registered 8 years agoI'd recommend Children of the Nile as a bit of a left wing suggestion. I do like Tropico though - that'd be my favourite. 3 or 4 really cos there's not much difference, but 4 is cheap on Steam right now. -

Registered 13 years agoGo for openttd instead, lots of good improvements to the core game and you have the option of downloading newgrf, which is basically modding the game so you can new vehicles, industries, town buildings, etc. Can make the game far more interesting, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

I would really like to see an updated version of Constructor as well. That game was a bit different. -

Registered 16 years agoThis is alpha footage of a city builder that I'm really interested in, reminds me a bit of stronghold. It's made entirely by one guy
