Are you still stuck on this? If so, here is some spoiler:

You can either solve the quest with the digging creatures and then they can whisk you to the correct place that allows you to solve the quest with Mapper that allows access to the correct place.

Or you can build a robot with the help of the foreman that also allows access and you can then do the Mapper quest and carry on from there.

    Hope that helps.

I am absolutely loving this game. The combat and effort system are really good and the story is very engaging so far.
    Thank you my friend

@Godofporn the way I did it:

After Mapper's original request is fulfilled he will tell you where Matinka is located, i went and asked the bug man thing to take me to her.  She is in a place called the Lost Caves.

@Gregolution I'm really enjoying it. This is my first game in this genre and it's very interesting. Love the story so far and the fact you can never die helps a newbie like me.

Aye, i am loving it so far. Lots and lots of text and story, the world building so far has been ace. The combat seems intricate enough without being too complicated, I am sure this will ramp up as the game progresses.

It does throw a lot of systems at you at first but they become pretty natual quickly. The fascinating thing for me so far is how much interest I have in chatting to people of the world. While some of this may be due to the XP from triggering things or the possible items it is also because the stories are largely quite interesting and mysterious. Most games these days I zone out of a lot of dialogue.

So I got stuck on inifere kept killing me as I don't know how the hell the fight system works. I like to talk my way out of things. It's been 4 days since I've been stuck and now finally I've done it! Closed the portal.

I heard you don't even need to fight once in this game if you talk your way out, is this true? As I got a feeling I'm really not making my dude any stronger

Yeah I'm pretty sure I read all combat is optional to an extent, in that it's possible to talk your way out of every encounter.

Really enjoying this so far; I'm about 5 hours in. The world-building is really fascinating and the writing is, for the most part, very well done.

It's a real welcome change of pace from the other games I'm playing at the moment - not even had a single fight yet :)

13 hours in and I've now had two fights. Couldn't see a way to avoid them short of not doing the quests they were a part of, which itself was an option, but I'm sure I probably just missed something.

Hopefully won't have to do too many more, my characters really aren't set up for battle.

Got it on ps4 for 15 squid! On it's way. Not that I need another stupidly long rpg but the intellectual in me is super excited for this. May well be my chill out game.

I got the XBO version for £16.something on ShopTo the other day. I already have it on PC as a backer, but thought I might grab the console version to do a quick look video with a couple of chums.

It was the day one edition with the physical map and soundtrack CD.

Wow, they really seem to have gone to shit. Shopto have it for 16.85. I'm very tempted as I'm curious and the price isn't bad. I know it will go on my pile of shame but when j see a game I'm interested in appear cheap, it's like a sign to me.

Why not just grab it from ShopTo in that case? It'll be guaranteed to turn up tomorrow.

Mainly because I'm trying to convince myself I don't need it. Which I don't. Haven't used shop to before are they decent and reliable?

Never had any problems with ShopTo, despite their website not exactly screaming out 'trustworthy, reliable company'.

    Heh, fair enough.

As with anything, YMMV, but I've been using them for seven or eight years now as my main place for game stuff, and I've only ever had one issue - they charged me twice for an item (it was only a tenner, at least). I emailed them and they apologised and refunded me within about twenty minutes. That's one out of well over a hundred purchases, and I've bought four or five consoles from them, too. If you order before a certain time, you're also pretty much guaranteed to get it next day as well.

I would say though, if you're not going to play it now, you may as well just wait. The price will probably drop like a stone, as it did for Wasteland 2 - you could pick that up for £8 on Amazon a few months after launch.

I think I may just wait you are totally right, I have only just began persona 5 and I will not be playing anything till I beat that. And I agree with the above as well. The website does look like absolute horseshit.

Thanks dude. I think the consensus is true. This game is only going to get cheaper. It's about 18 everywhere. I shall wait till it gets super cheap. Probably...

I think 16.85 is pretty damn cheap really, plus the inclusion of tat in the box is tempting for me.
