Might be a bit late, but on may 8th theres flora day in helston. Its great. Its a bit like obby ozz. Flora eve is amazing, and flora day is just a lot of fun. Cornwall is awesome. But it is nice to get away from the motherland now and again into civilisation.

I grew up a couple of miles from St David's (I'm from Pembrokeshire) so it's hard to appreciate it as a holiday destination. It's nice to see people coming to visit though even if its sort of wasted on me

We're off for a week in Snowdonia after Easter. It's our first holiday for a while.
Since we moved from London to West Dorset a few years ago we've had fabulous beaches and countryside on our doorstep that has meant staycations have been the order of the day. -

Tempting. I forget whether you're in Iowa or Idaho. One is almost doable, the other isn't.

Registered 11 years agoOff to Madeira tomorrow for a week, anyone been and have any tips?
Mind, i'll be with my 5 month pregnant wife and 2 year old toddler so golfing it up probably won't be a viable option.
Can't wait though, been about a year and a half since the last holiday and with baby number 2 on the way it'll probably be even longer until the next! Hoping for a good mix of relaxing by the pool/beach and some exploring. -
No holiday for me as my work plans have changed -
