You are not forced to put anything on it if you don't want it there. You could keep it clean or just put your most used apps on it or go completely bananas. |

Stable yes, Faster no.

Nope, still significantly faster and more stable.

Oh and not really on topic but I just - as in five fucking cunting minutes a go- dropped my less-that-a-month old nexus 7. It never even hit the ground, I caught it against the wall on the way down. It was in a case. The screen is now completely cracked and it is no longer fucking working. I'm actually at the point of fucking bursting with anger. That is two Android products I've owned that have had the cheapest fucking build quality imaginable. Both cracked in some way within a month (this is now completely useless though). Both in a case at the time. I fucking liked the thing as well but I can't stand how badly they cheap out on the hardware.
Excuse me while I go on a killing spree. -

That is why homescreens are nice.
Then add some at a glance information (is the train on time is a good example) and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
Unless you like doing stuff like this to your phone. -

It has JellyBean 4.1.2, isn't that unstable but does occasionally reboot randomly and freeze. The iPhone is rock solid. -

Also my ipad mini is not flawless or "rock solid" it too has hissy fits sometimes although granted it has far fewer than my Galaxy tab had. -

See I had the exact opposite experience. My 4S used to chug seemingly at random, often when doing simple shit like sorting out my photos. Each successive update to firmware was a fucking nightmare, especially if it coincided with an upgrade of iTunes. I lost access to a lot of apps and games when I got out of the Apple ecosystem, but the flexibility and stability of Android on my HTC One has made me a happy bunny.

Mind you, I say that but EG has been slowing my phone to a crawl all bloody week. It's fine as soon as I close the tab and other sites are behaving... What the hell is going on?

I just looked at my home screen from this page, then went back to it, all in under a second. Didn't seem to have any problem drawing on my s3.

I've seen an iPhone 5 screen shatter after falling from a chair. On a wooden floor no less. Not even the hard polished stuff but a soft pine floor.

They may have suffered quality wise since the 4s (my last iPhone). My 4S was battered and dropped every day with no screen protector or case and never showed so much as a dent. My Samsung Note fell on a carpet and part of the bezel chipped away ffs. -
Yeah I'm pretty sure the screen quality is not that different between any of the smartphones. I've seen people with fully shattered iPhone screens, trying to text someone. It's just a phone thing. -

Registered 16 years agoThe quality of the glass is *definitely* a lot worse than the iPhone.
Im probably not going to be able to sell on my S3, such is the state of the screen. The glass is a lot tougher on the iPhone. -
My word, Google and Asus have the single worst customer service I have ever seen. It actually feels like a parody how opposed it is to Apple's. -

Can you turn down animations in Touchwiz? It helped a lot when I had a Galaxy Nexus and an HTC Desire before that.
