    Apart from some added functionality it's really just a font change with little flat icons + colour.
    Out of curiosity, what do you expect from an OS update apart from added functionality and a UI change?
    As long as something is needed then I'm not too bothered. A major part of this update is just graphical. Did we really need a font change or different icons or transparent panels? Nope.

    @warlockuk, you can disable that panel when using other apps: Settings / Control Center / Access Within Apps

    Track order easy fix just removed music and re-added it all good now.

    Still think the Music App on the iPad is utter gash though.

    Apple desperately needed to do a GUI overhaul. What they had was the laughing stock of the design community for almost a year. A fashion sensitive company like Apple can't afford too look dated.

    @Armoured_Bear I mainly hate the new fonts. All the keyboard lettering and titles on everything look really scratchy and horrid now. I would expect to be able to change it. I can't , unless I am missing something.

    I dislöike the icons but like everything else, each to their own though...

    Never mind. Turning on bold under accessability improves things...

    No wonder apple have taken 7 years to change it. isheep fear change. :p

    I like it.
  • Deleted user 19 September 2013 14:41:33
    Am I missing something? Even though I've set a panoramic photograph as my wallpaper background I can't navigate around it when I rotate like I could when I trialled the beta version of iOS7.
  • Deleted user 19 September 2013 14:57:16
    @HairyArse

    I was thinking the same. I do get the effect but it's so slight to be hardly noticeable...was just thinking that is how it's supposed to be but if it was that pronounced in the beta maybe it's been changed in some way.
  • Deleted user 19 September 2013 14:58:27
    When I tried the beta I could literally stand up, rotate on the spot and I could navigate around my panaromic background. I loved that feature but had to uninstall the beta because it was too buggy.

    Silly question, I take it you have the reduce motion option set to off in the settings.

    Just me or is anybody thinking that the Safari browser is a fair bit slower now?

    Aaand, of course CalDAV calendars and CardDAV contacts don't work. Fuck them, fuck them right in the ear.

    Yep.

    I was a beta tester for iOS 7 (a proper one, mind!) and Safari always seemed slower than my back-up iPod running iOS 6 ... not sure why.

    People at work hate this update; functionally it is great, aesthetics wise, poor.

    My biggest hate on this is the loss of things snapping into place, when I click the home button I don't want it to fade into view. I want it there straight away

    @Grax

    Can't believe there isn't a disable transitions option. Can't see it being too long before they release an update to address this.

    The things I like most are that they've added reverb to the clicky lock sound, and that the second hand on the clock icon actually moves.

    It feels slightly slower to me too, on an ipad mini.
    And, I can't be sure, but I think there is less actual window space with the browser too?
    And, I hate the transparent shite.
    And, I hate the whole lightness of it, a dark browser window that let's you focus on the actual content it far superior.

    @mcmothercruncher

    Agree with pretty much all you said there....my issues also relate to usage on my mini, don't mind it at all on my 4s. I also feel that the keyboard feels quite laggy on my mini now as well.

    Looks like they cut it:

    I like it, personally.

    Only thing that's bugging me is that Safari is noticeably slower.

    I'd just love a very dark grey/ black skin for it, never going to happen though.

    Maybe I dreamt it, but I thought we'd loose the unloading browser tabs- necessitating Safari to reload the page you were looking at, or worse, the video- with iOS7?
    It's still unloading browser tabs for me and I've only three open :(

    Anyone having slightly bizarre issues (on iPad) where when you use all five fingers (multi-gesture) to pinch to go to the home screen, the screen only shows the wallpaper?

    : S

    ... think I shall just turn those gestures off for the time being.

    God, this is still buggy for heavens sake!

    Another mini user here with slow as fuck safari.

    Also, Calendar now sucks absolute balls, and considering i plan, work, wifes work, social and work appointments on it I may need to find an alternative.
