| Is anyone getting this at the bottom of EG network sites? Or have I been infected by some shitty-links-to-crappy-sites-ware? |

Errr... There's links to other EG Network sites, but nothing entitled "You May Also Like..." -
As well as Minty Kit-Kats, I also like Orange Clubs. Orange Clubs are marginally smaller than (2-stick) Kit-Kats, but at least you're not swizzed by the gap.
I do not also like Jaffas and rather believe that no-one on this site really likes them, and that it's a devious trick to make gullible people eat the disgusting things in the hope that they're cool. -

Registered 15 years agoI see it too. Something about a lottery winner blowing 10m was one of the headline stories.

Oh wait, I do get those on front page articles, but they only lead to other EG articles for me. -

I'm not. FF plug-in? -
Or is this what Google analytic does if you don't block it? -
And yet they wonder why the site is so frigging slow and takes up so much memory. -

Registered 16 years agoWell, they've increased my traffic to chrome's adblock app, which will massively decrease EG's ad traffic from me. -

Make sure to whack on Ghostery as well. EG + Adblock alone = major issues with Chrome.

Registered 19 years agoEr, yeah, it's sort of advertising. I guess it does look a bit suspect, but it's pretty innocent and just recommends the things people actually click. So far it keeps recommending a story about a loaf of Hovis. I'm not sure what that tells you about our readership...

Registered 19 years agoIf you ad block we still get to eat (Hovis) but we will unfortunately be forced to euthanise a panda. This one:

I never liked pandas anyway. -

Pandas can't even be arsed to breed and save themselves. So pandas can fuck off. -
If your diet consisted of just eating bamboo all the time I doubt you'd want to inflict that misery on future generations either.
