Played 10 mins of beta on sunday, does the movement feel sluggish to anyone else?

Also i think there (at least in the first dungeon) is far too much to click on, do they really expect me to move / open every single vase or broken vase to find keys and stuff?

Either way wont have time to play this until weekend really

@THFourteen it's a little slow but they seem to move faster the further away you click and you can also treat movement like an rts.

Well all the broken vases are empty so ... 😃

How demanding is the game engine for this? I'm curious to see if this'd work on my Asus Transformer T100 (comparatively, I can get Fallout NV on low to play at 30fps).

If you can run Dota 2 ok, I reckon you will be fine. Very similar art style as well.

Awesome. Yeah it runs Dotes on low at about 40fps. I can get some tablet style train action Divinity rocking then :D

You have to be very careful in fights, it will kick your ass. Using the environment is essential.

Dialogue in this game is excellent. Spent a good two hours mostly just wondering around the town talking to people and moving on the main quest.

Then I found a random grave and realised I had a shovel so start digging. I keep getting dialogue from party members saying i shouldn't disturb a grave, "yeah yeah whatever gais..."

Then KABOOM, explosion deals 3k damage and wipes out my party :)
I had the same "problem" but loving it. Luckly I saved before I went digging. The talking to animals is also pretty funny, oo and I found some Nine Inch Nails. This game is really great.

I dug up the wrong grave and valiant Murphy was two-shot by Dave the zombie :(

in that graveyard one of the graves leads to a dungeon that's worth investigating for some nice cash, if you've not found it already. just beware the traps!. Also in that graveyard the agitated dog I trusted his instincts, dug up the grave he was near and out pops Dave and one shots the dog. Poor fella.

@THFourteen Performance is massively better now, which makes the game feel less sluggish, but characters still move a little slowly.

Love the many clickable things, myself - and it's pretty clever that what you see when you press alt depends on your characters' perception stats, not on what you as the "eye in the sky" can see.

    That is superb!

Agree on the dialogue as well, it's excellent.

Apparently most of the fights outside of town are balanced for a 4 man party, so make sure you get your companions ASAP.

@neems I can confirm. i only have a party of 3 and the fields to the west are full of damn tough skeletons, i had to use every trick and spell at my disposal to survive just the first encounter!

@smoggo It wasn't shitty, it was actually a pretty neat action RPG/Diablo clone. Had nothing to do with the PC RPG though, no.

Maybe not, but it got shitty reviews so I never played it.
It didn't get shitty reviews at all. Confusing it with something entirely else, per chancer?

@magicpanda Cheers! Reasonably proper one, too, it seems.

Really enjoying this. Get the feeling I am barely scratching the surface of the possibilities available to me.
