It's been too long since Children of Men. This is my most anticipated mainstream film of the year, and this trailer leaves me salivating somewhat: It hits in October. Edited by BinaryBob101 at 16:36:52 10-05-2013 |

There is no sound in space. I shall be boycotting the film because of scientific inaccuracy. -
Looked pretty good. As long as they do Isolated Clooney in Space better than Solaris they can't go too wrong. -
2hrs of Sandra "might have Bollocks" in a suit screaming is not for me.
Talk about being miscast.
Half expect Keanu Reeves to turn up on an out of control space bus, -

The lake House
Miss Congeniality
Miss Congeniality 2

Two Weeks notice
Murder by Numbers

Forces of Nature
The Net
Hope Floats
Gun SHy
Tells me you are very fucking wrong -
Crash would like to say hello. -
Speed is ok but shes so bloody whinny.
Plus she always comes across a bit skinny and blokey -

You on purposely chose to leave out A Time to Kill, The Blind Side and Crash then?

... and Speed is BRILLIANT! -
Ok me personally wouldn't like a bit of the Sandra
Given how this is going to be primarily about one actor and one actress, she is still a strange choice -
I agree. This woman who won the Oscar for best actress is a strange choice. -

She can act but she seems to choose more films the The Heat as opposed to The Blind Side or Crash.
This one could be a bit special. I wonder if she'll do a scene like Sigourney Weaver did in the original Alien when she gets into the space suit. -

Registered 17 years agoIt's nicely shot apart from the sound in space thing. I kind of have a feeling it's not got many places to develop to from what they have given away in the trailer. It's either they get rescued or they die right? -
Who cares about places to develop from? This is clearly going to be character driven, which is more of what the mainstream needs. Throw out the predictable three act template and just do something with substance. -

Registered 12 years agoWha..?
Why was Children of Men rubbish? Did it have a terrible plot? Was the acting throughout awful? Did Michael Caine really piss you off because he was stoned? Was the fucking stunning tracking shot too long?
I'd love for you to elaborate. -

Registered 20 years agoCoM seems to be one of those marmite films. Personally I really liked it, but then I tend to enjoy films based on Ruth Rendell plots.
Will be looking forward to this film though. Trailer looks fantastic. -

Registered 20 years agoDon't let altitude2k put you off - these new trailers just clarify details of the incident - they don't reveal anything about the larger plot.
Are they going to be showing this film in 3d, does anyone know? I do hope not. 3D glasses and those spinny space shots = hoorp! -
Im in the line day 1 for this film.
Im a huge sci-fi fan, a huge space fan and a huge Alfonso Cuaron fan so this film is a triple whammy for me.
Looks amazing. -

Yep, it's in 3D vertigo-ness.
Met someone who saw the trailer and said, "looks really unrealistic". What a bafoon. -
Between my claustrophobia and my dislike of Clooney they may have well called this "Nnnnnnnope: The Movie" for me. -
Dislike for Clooney? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!
