    And finished.

Brilliant, The End of the Fucking World grabbed me from beginning to end. Great performances.

Please leave it at one series, I just read that it's based on a comic that ends at the same place so hopefully they'll leave it at that. Please, have some self control and leave us with something to mull over for once.

Agree, one season perfectly formed cult hit is exactly what it should be and remain

Yep yep yep! Sublime (except possibly the last season). One of my all time faves, superb characters (especially Krieger!).

posted this on the films thread, but it's all netflix...just watched two great mexican films by the same director...'the similars' and 'the incident'

first one's like an episode of the twilight zone on lsd through a sin city filter, the second's reminding me of timecrimes...and is my favourite out of the two...love discovering new nuggets...

...among the other shite on netflix like 'the open house' that i watched earlier...also watched 'temple', which was passable...

You've watched 4 films in a day? Jeez, what did you do with your hands?

A Futile and stupid gesture. A kind of biopic of how National Lampoon started. Really nicely done, looks great. Interesting to see how it all kicked off and the major influences on comedy. Well worth a watch imo.

Open House. Reasonable / decent fare until the last third. It is actually worth watching for that last 20 mins. Shittest and most perplexing ending to a film that I can recall. A complete waste of time ultimately.

I am trying to say that itís worth it just to see how poor that ending is.

yup, id agree with that summary....shite

watched 'bottom of the world' yesterday, which was a nice surprise...decent little indie puzzler...

also 'creep 2', which was thankfully a sequel to the brilliant 'creep' with mark duplass, not the shitty london underground one...

and 'one of us'...need to watch this again as i was in and out cooking dinner but reminded me of 'the conspiracy'...another cult film

That Altered Carbon thing... trailer looks interesting but also like a budget Blade Runner

    Anyone know much?

Empire thought it was shite, on average it seems to be reviewing reasonably well. 71% on Metacritic.

Sounds like it's worth a pop if it looks appealing (as it does to me)!

Yeah, book was bloody superb. Really looking forward to it; been ages since I read the book so it'll be nice and fresh.

Another vote for Altered Carbon. Don't think I loved EP1 quite as much as Razz (a few shonky lines and the visuals aren't as good as I was hoping) but it seems to be very solid cyberpunk so far.

Started watching Damnation tonight. Fuck me its violent.

Set in 1930's Iowa, it is about the instigation of an armed uprising by farmers against the banks who keep them down.

Has anyone here watched through the Dirty Money series? The one about the Pay Day lenders is very enjoyable.

Watching the dick give out about being in a tight financial situation when thatís what he forced thousands of people into was loathsome.

The Cloverfield Paradox (aka Cloverfield 3) has just been added to Netflix.

The original Cloverfield is already on there, while 10 Cloverfield Lane (aka Cloverfield 2) is getting added on 25th Feb.

@reddevil93 I skipped straight to the final Donald Trump episode which is a superb takedown of why he is a con man. Looking forward to going back and watching the other five!

Highly recommended if you like your documentaries.

I'm trying Netflix for the first time in my life. The kids are ill so I put them in front of Dragonriders playing on Netflix via my PS4.

Jeeeeeeesus those fans are loud. Switched to the Chromecast for a much better experience.

How can it be that one device nearly sets the house on fire and wakes the entire neighborhood up with the noise and the other just hangs there unnoticed?
