Started watching the highly acclaimed documentary series 'The Vietnam War' by Ken Burns.

    First episode was fantastic.

Are they the full-length episodes? BBC4's were edited :( I watched his second world war, and the seven parts were all nearly two hours!

Not sure how to tell if edited or not. There are 10 episodes all well over 1hr long. The first was about 1hr 20 minutes.

Matt Groening's Disenchantment is coming in August. Hopefully more Good Futurama than Rubbish Futurama.

August 17th too! Not long. I'm really looking forward to it.

Since most people seem to have bailed on these....

Luke Cage S2 seems, so far, to have bucked the trend and it's actually better than the first season possibly because Luke is hardly in it and the supporting characters are more interesting.

Alfre Woodard still plays Mariah like she has Alzheimer's, though.

I guess this has been mentioned already, but just started watching the "Defiant Ones" doc about Dr Dre and the rest of the Interscope records crew.

    It's fantastic. Like a hip-hop 30 for 30.

Watched the first three eps with the wife and enjoyable enough so far.

Really enjoyed season 2 of GLOW

Also enjoying Good Girls, was not completely sold by the 1st episode but gets really good. Reminds me of the tv show Weeds (without the drugs of course)

Probably a cultural thing but i am quite enjoying Asian Provocateur (Romesh Ranganathan comedy thing).

it's a bit forced at times, but its funny.

This has been a feature of the Android app for at least the last three months, not sure why that article says its being rolled out this week?

Your not thinking of just download functionality? Seems to be widespread reporting today on this "smart" aspect.

There isn't a Netflix avoid thread so may as well post this here. My eldest daughter wanted to pick something on Netflix to watch and as she likes bake off she wanted something of that ilk. She found a show called 'Nailed it' which I swear to god is the worst fucking show she could of picked. The premise sounds fun enough. 3 contestants with crap baking skills have to try and recreate an expert's creation.

Problem is it's got the most annoying host I've ever seen on a US show and I've seen a lot. I just want to punch her in her face everytime I see her. I'm getting wound up thinking about it now.

I wish you could delete shows. Someone's discovered Haters Back Off, the worst thing in the history of things.

    Haha. 'Nailed It' is crazy.

I've just polished off a short documentary series called 'The Horn' (stop sniggering) which follows the air ambulance/mountain rescue team who work in and around Zermatt and the Matterhorn

Nope, my phone has been smart downloading episodes on Netflix for the last few months and I'm not aware of being eligible for any pre-release functionality.

Fair enough! It is pretty sweet though, especially as I'm the sort of person who forgets to download stuff manually each day.

My tablet doesn't do that but I am very glad it soon will. I'm forever forgetting to download the next one.
