As a Boro fan there is a little bit of schadenfreude going on (even though they don't give a sh*t about us) but this is an absolutely fascinating documentary.
Started watching it last night and managed three episodes before I went to bed.
Brilliantly filmed and paced, you really get a feel for the place and what it means to the fans as things don't go as expected. Obviously I know how it ends but it's proper riveting stuff.
Hopefully finish it tonight and I'm sort of hoping they're doing it for this season.

Apparently, Short hoped it would act as a promotional tool to help sell the club, showing them rise like a phoenix through the championship and back to the prem, so he gave them access all areas.

    Funny how things work out.

Yeah that makes sense why he did it.
Haven't seen him appear at all in the program yet despite being mentioned a lot so he's sort of like Mr Barlow in Salem's Lot!

I'm a Newcastle fan and it's got me feeling things. I don't think many documentaries capture football like this does, its a properly truly special series.

I honestly think it's got more in common with something like The Mighty Redcar than First Team Juventus.

If ever the phrase it's the hope that kills you rang true it's watching this and knowing what the people involved don't yet

    Your Lie In April.

I unashamedly loved this series: beautiful plot, music, and imagry. I recognise what some critics say about it is right regarding the repetition and moving the plot forwards, and it could have been shorter, but I don't care, it was just wonderful, will leave a long lasting impression with me, and made a wonderful change to what I usually watch (this is only my second anime series, and my first in Japanese with subs).

Just brilliant. I cannot recommend it enough.

For real. Im just ploughing through it now and literally every time they score, some poor fucker says 'this is the turning point'.

Their fans have a ridiculous sense of entitlement. They seems to think life owes them a great team and they should just walk the league. Itís no wonder they struggle when they turn on their players so quickly.

Christmas Chronicle with Kurt Russell as Santa is a lot better than you'd expect.

Angela's Christmas is really sweet too. Although my 2 year old nephew is hooked on it so I've seen it a dozen times and my sister-in-law essentially on repeat since it went online.

Yeah, that's just a weird thing to compare it to. I liked it overall. As above, was unsure about the people who get affected differently but engrossing film overall.

Saw most of episode 1 of season 1 and struggled to get into it. Does it get better? Or is it me?

I'm looking for a new Netflix series.

I get the comparison as there's similarities in the premise, but Bird Box is a huge amount better.

I didn't mind The Happening. Better than Signs anyway.

My queue is such a bulging monstrosity, I struggle to pick anything whenever I try to watch something. A random button that picks something for you from your list would be a nice touch or like 5 multi choice questions that picks something for you.

The bairns had a lush time, the in-laws didn't get too grouchy with their rum/port/whisky/prosecco mix and pregnant Mrs Maybe wasn't too shattered.

I got to eat what I wanted and have retreated to bed to watch last nights BBC4 ghost stories on the iPad

The US version used to do this... It was called Max and asked you a series of questions and recommended something based on your answers and how you'd rated other films. Shame they didn't roll it out more or continue with it.
