To be fair, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is actually quite amusing in places ... and it has Wash too, from Firefly!
This is either a hilarious joke or you have a 15 year old's idea of what is entertaining. Wall to wall faeces.

Registered 14 years agoAm I being slow here or did Buffy the Vampire Slayer just get added to Netflix? (Uk) Probably just me noticing it for the first time...

It was added last week. Only the first 3 seasons though. Whereas US has had them all since forever.

Registered 14 years agoSafety Not Guaranteed - Very entertaining sci-fi (or is it?) indie comedy type thing. Thought it would be annoyingly quirky. Was not (US Netflix).
Also Homeland Series 1 is now on Canada Netflix and The Dark Knight Rises has been added to Sweden, Denmark etc. -

Yeah I watched that and loved it. Characters and the interplay between them was wonderful. It's certainly a real change of pace. It's more indy drama/comedy than SF. It's definitely a recommend.

Registered 8 years agoThe Hunter is on UK Netflix.
It's a slow-paced but beautifully shot drama with Willem Dafoe being sent after the Tasmanian tiger. -

Registered 12 years agoFor anyone that uses Google Chrome and wants a quicker and easier way than using VPN software, you can download a Chrome extension called Media Hint. I find it a lot easier just to enable/disable that in the extensions tab on Chrome rather than use an external program to switch between US and UK Netflix. -

This has turned up on the US Netflix. It looks brilliant.
Edit* I've watched the trailer about 5 times now.
Motorcycle ninjas = Check
Great soundtrack = Check
Oates from Halls & Oates look-a-like = Check
Slow motion fist in mouth = Check
Comic relief black guy = Check
It's basically the perfect movie.
Edit* Did not realise one of the tracks from this is on the end credits of Blood Dragon, but then I haven't finished it yet.

Registered 15 years agoMentioned in the TV review thread but I just finished watching Freaks and Geeks on US Netflix.
Great comedy / drama from 1999 but set in the eighties, cruelly axed after eighteen episodes.

Just watched and enjoyed this on US. Slightly disappointed it was only 720p and Stereo sound. Still, my amp did a good job of outputting Dolby Pro Logic II Movie.

I was about to post the same, I'm almost 100% it's on UK Netflix. A corker of an action film. I hope that they put Dredd 3D on there soon, I can watch that film again and still enjoy it immensely.
Watched The Raid the other night there, pretty good action/martial arts movie. Its Indonesian and has subtitles but it doesn't distract from the film -

Dredd is awesome, especially so as I was a fan of the comic! I own Dredd in 3D but was really disappointed. Most of the time you have to remember it's supposed to be in 3D. In the special features they say they wanted to do 3D differently, to be subtle, but they went to far. It's crappy.

They don't appear to have made it to any PS3 what I can gather. Seemed to be on the Android app though, certainly for Canada.
