I thought this was used as the general 'streaming TV' thread so apologies. It is good, though:)

@BinaryBob101 I can't, my "to watch" list on Netflix is now on 150 movies and shows.

    It is getting insane!

But I still remember most of it missing boy is like the father, girlfriend is the aunt or something and it all ends in some dystopia.

The buzz around When They See Us is pretty big. Might watch that tonight.

Wee! The Dark Crystal (the original film, the series is out later) has landed on Netflix over here in Belgium. Considering they're making the series I presume they've acquired the IP and it will show up at one point or another - if it hasn't already - wherever you're located.

An absolute childhood classic even though I found it a bit disturbing back then (granted, I was only 8 at the time)

Iím not very keen on dramatisations of actual events - would much rather they made a documentary series about the Central Park 5 instead.

Watched See You Yesterday with the family tonight and we all quite enjoyed it. Definitely 'made for TV' feel but pretty good. 6.5/10

Season 2 of Good Girls is up on the Netflix. A very good, very Breaking Bad influenced show.

Only watched the first episode of When They See Us yesterday (because I can only handle so much bleakness - seriously, try a double bill of this with Chernobyl for peak bleak.)

Canít comment too much as Iíve only seen one ep, but already itís a series that I feel everyone needs to see. While youíre watching bear in mind that Linda Fairstein (the prosecutor played by Felicity Huffman) was never called to account for her actions and her career was not damaged in any way. And she went on to hush up some of Harvey Weinsteinís victims.

You have to wonder whether Felicity Huffmanís role in that college bribery scam only came to light because she played this role...

Random late night scrolling and saw the trailer for The Unathorised Bash Brothers Experience. Not sure exactly what to make of it but it raised a smile on a Sunday evening.

Yeah. The Unauthorises Bash Brothers is great. Like an episode of 20 for 20, but done as a hip-hop acid trip.

I watched it earlier - just far too odd for me. I wouldn't have kept going past the half hour mark.

I also watched Icarus - great documentary about doping in sport.

Killer Ratings is a very good true crime documentary.

Six parter about the star of a Brazillian version of 'Cops' who is accused of turning to murder to drive ratings.

It is subtitles all the way, but has a ton of contempary footage and interviews with the actual protagonists (very little of that 'fake aged film' re-construction that a lot of netflix docs rely on).

So this ďI am motherĒ popped up on my radar today. Is it out yet, it looks rather good although ign of all places said it does falter a bit in the final third.

I started watching Dark last weekend, and then ended up smashing through the rest of it this week.

    What a show that is.

Oh I thought it was a doc. Not interested in dramatisation, hard to tell what's actually real.

Ken Burns did an excellent documentary on that case. Not sure if it is still on Netflix but it used to be.

Just finished The Society. Really enjoyed that very much. Like Under the Dome (the book, not the terrible series) but with teens. Yes they can sometimes grate. but on balance they do a great job and the script veers away from cliche for the most part (jocks aside) doesn't head too much down predictable paths. Hoping for more.

Is The Society as much like a grimdark version of The Tribe as it looked ?
