I didn't realise we were getting Glow 3.

The first season is one of the very best Netflix originals

Might give The Good Place a go.

After Dark I'm not sure I trust my friend's recommendations as much, but this seems a different kettle of fish.

I like how it's only 22 minutes or so per episode. We need more shorter episodes imo

Possibly even better, I just finished the other day but watched over the period since release so fairly spread out, thought it had more character development all round.

You should. First series in particular is great. Iíve watched the whole thing twice through and Iím looking forwards to season 4. This and Limitless are my favourite series. Oh and Lucifer.

Yeeeeah, so Wu Assassins is pretty patchy, unfortunately. Yes, the fighting is great, but there's not nearly enough of it (currently on episode 8) to justify watching through all the other parts. I know we're having a bit of a laugh about the word "formulaic" in the film thread, but this is something you could put on the dictionary page of the word.

It's a shame, because I really liked the first four or so episodes. Maybe I'll like the last two! But it's been a bit of a slog, bad but not in a fun way.

Maybe they should have gone with 8 episodes in the season, rather than 10. Seems to be a common Netflix thing.

I'm two and a half episodes into Wu Assassins and I think I'm done. It's remarkable how they've made a show full of stuff I like so uninteresting. Might go back to it if I'm ever short of stuff to watch, but it just can't compete right now. I even preferred season 1 of Iron Fist.

Oh it's miles better than Iron Fist. Like, not even close.

I think what it really needs is either a better script, or a better sense of humour about itself. Because it's really, really dumb, and doesn't seem to realise it is.

It's occasionally fun! I like most of the scenes with Chibs from Sons of Anarchy.

EDIT: And now it's done. My god that was a mess.

Am I the only one who watched the new Rocko's Modern Life?

    Opinions anybody?

Do you get to see Alison Brie's boobs again after the first episode? Asking for my dad.

DARK is a bit good isnít it? Just about to watch the 1st seasonís final episode. Though if anyone, like us, has a young un that refuses to read subtitles and you feel like you should switch to the dub for a proper family TV night, be warned - the dub is fucking terrible.

I really struggled in a couple of meetings today and later realised that it was because I watched the first two episodes last night and it actually made me more stupider.

@Mola_Ram it's a shame, there are some good bits to work with. Fighting was great, I liked the cast and characters, it's just the rest was... ALL THE BALD CHEFS.

See, I loved that line! It suggested something fun to come, like Mark Dacascos fighting in a room full of bald chefs. But no, they've got them all there, he stands up and says "these are not the bald chefs you are looking for" (not the actual line, but I'm trying to make it more fun), and then everyone just... leaves.

They have such a dumb, crazy premise, but steadfastly refuse to go crazy with it.

It actually reminds me of something like Into the Badlands. Only ItB really leaned into its ham, and was better for it.

Thatís a real shame about wu assassin. I watched the first four last night and thought it was awesome. Watched the fifth today and hoped it was just a lull before the storm. Oh well.

Not Netflix but Amazon Prime's This Is Football series is very good. Refused to watch episode one though. Favourite ones are on Iceland and Messi.

Saw the Great Hack finally. Was disappointed. If you've followed even a tiny bit of the news coverage then you know everything that it covers. It's quite shallow and paints a distorted image of Kaiser. Further reading let's you know that she was never really involved in human rights; has always worked for dodgy individuals. She comes across as a narcissist who just follows the money, attempting to redeem her image and attacking CA - as awful as they were - for personal reasons.

Yeah, saw that too. It's not bad, though I take it all with a pinch of salt - the film likes to portray them as some super-group pulling all the strings in Washington and other countries. There are countless groups like them playing politics.

Is it appropriate for a football obsessed 9 year old?

    Yep, totally.

The only inarticulate idiot they speak to is Rio, and he manages to remain inoffensive.
