I think, ironically, thats the reason its gone up. They need a steady stream of content to stop people doing that. But, yeah, I think it has got to the point that people are going to start rotating subs around. Im cycling out of Disney+ for a while, at least until S3 of Mando drops and I would be binning Netflix for a bit if I actually paid for it. |

Registered 16 years agoI've think I've got just about all the subs. Now TV (movies), Netflix, Prime and Disney+. But then life at Hermit Towers revolves around the TV, and the logins are shared with my parents. -

Registered 4 years agoJust netflix here. For me it's still easily the best service. I had prime video a couple of months ago on a free trial and it's pretty good now but miles behind netflix and Disney+ has no where near enough content. I paid for one month to watch mandalorian and soul and won't be continuing. -

Prime has more content than pretty much the rest put together. If you started watching it now for 24hrs a day, it would take you 7 years to get through it.

Unfortunately, 90% of it is toilet. -

It'll never happen. -

Registered 5 years agoAt the moment we’ve got Netflix and Disney having dropped Prime.
If I’m honest we watch more iPlayer than anything else but that’s partly because no one comes remotely close to the BBC on programmes for pre-schoolers. -

Registered 15 years agoThe kind of follow up, Weathering With You, is also very good. It was like 3.99 to buy on Apple TV before Xmas.
But, yeah, Your Name is excellent. It’s one of my daughters favourite movies, she can just watch and watch it. -

Registered 4 years agoYeah I'll get mine to watch it some time this week. I'm sure they'll love it when they get their heads around the time jumping etc. I'll have to check out weathering at some point then. -

Same here (plus Hayu purely so my wife can watch the rest of Below Deck). Tbh,it's Nowtv that gets the least love. Kids have always got something on Netflix, we've usually got a few series on the go across Netflix and Prime. And my kids are 2/3 of the way through The Simpsons, and are always dipping into the back catalogue on Disney.

Will check out Your Name, sounds good. My 8 year old is obsessed with We Can Be Heroes or something (the sequel to Shark Boy and Lava Girl). She watched it 3 times a day last weekend. -

Just started watching it. Went to get a beer, hit pause a half a dozen times and it kept restarting a second later. Let loose a string of profanity, including the C word. I feel like today is going to be a fucking great day.

I generally absolutely hate reality TV. But this I don't mind and have even watched a few. I hate myself a little for it.

Registered 11 years agoAfter a lifetime of piracy on the high seas, I've only just started embracing streaming services properly.
A few years ago, when I used to rent with a friend, I used to pay Sky a ridiculous amount every month to watch Football, Silicon Valley, and adverts. I'm now more than happy just paying for 4K Netflix and iPlayer for less than £20 per month. More than enough content, for now.
I've tried Prime Video numerous times but it really is poor, despite it coming with the added Amazon benefits. Almost everything I've wanted to watch on there costs extra. -

Registered 16 years agoI rated Prime pretty highly. Netflix iss more diverse but the Amazon exclusive stuff was generally better quality and they have a lot of older shows that I wanted to re-run (Lost, Buffy, X-files, etc). -

Registered 5 years agoCompared to the other big ones I find Prime’s UI a busy mess. A genuine factor in me dropping it. -

Registered 17 years agoI actually don't mind it now. It has an option to change subtitle size and colour too, which Netflix doesn't have.

Registered 5 years agoBest thing about Prime for me is all the shit you can get sent to your house with it. Like literally the next day. -
Yeah the post is amazing. Every time I want something I get me ex to order it for me so I don't need prime. Just before Xmas I ordered something about 8pm and it arrived 10am the next day.
