Itís resident evil and the blue shit was the zombie chemicals. He was made in a lab and had all that glowing blue to show he was man made. Same with the zombie fetus.

Thereís a sliding doors universe with Mila Jojovic starring instead of Dave Bautista.

Haha, I was thinking the same but it's infinitly more interesting than the film itself.

I really hate the way Synder uses music in his films as it's so distracting and it all started with bloody Sucker Punch.

You can see how this film sat in development hell for so long.
I actually thought it was okay (much better than Sucker Punch), cut thirty minutes off it and it's a moderately entertaining evening's viewing.

As for the music, does Snyder think that 'Zombie' by the Cranberries is actually about, you know, zombies?

That was laughably on the nose. Iím surprised they didnít play that kernkraft 400 song.

I get the impression that Snyder films are fueled entirely by cocaine.

More ego for me and I'm guessing the obsession with the soft focus was due the pilot being copy and pasted in from a green screen. The focus was really annoying.

Yes, apparently, Tig Notaro was digitally inserted in post as the character was originally played by one of the many comedians turned sex offenders America likes to produce.

Watched 5 episodes of orange is the new black. Is it worth persisting with, seems a bit boring and pointless so far..

Whenever I picture the undead I always think of zombies with their tanks and their bombs and their bombs and their gons.

@captbirdseye No, Snyder is obsessed with really shallow depth-of-field now, he uses it all through the Snyder Cut as well.

It's horrible, but he's his own director of photography these days, so he can make it look as blurry as he wants

The guy played a stand up comedian who used his stature to groom and abuse young girls in the second season of You on Netflix. That kind of method acting puts Daniel Day-Lewis to shame.

Well, Jupiter's Legacy is really showing its budget. Happy Shopper Millarvision.

Ah, thanks for this. I thought I'd missed something about some special bullets.

It was OK. Enjoyed zombie tiger and lol'd at the demise of the zombie wife.

Edit: reading the goofs etc on IMDB. Very neckbeardy.

I'm so glad I read about the stuck pixel before starting Army of the Dead. I would have spent the whole film and a while afterwards angry, worried and stressed rather than just bored.

Jupiterís Legacy has been canned, apparently. They really are going to have to pull their fingers out of their arses if they want to hang with Marvel TV.

Theyíll even have to pull it out to keep up with DCís cheapo shows like Batwoman nevermind Marvel putting out £200m series

I'm watching this at the moment and boy does it lose momentum. The fight with Blackstar (not a spoiler, it literally happens within the first 5 minutes) was amazing but then it's all a sleep-inducing origin story.

In a superhero series I want to see superheroes kick some arse, damned.

Also, the daughter is annoying as hell. I know she's meant to be but this is a bit too much.

All three series of Count Arthur Strong now on. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but along with Always Sunny, I wake my sleeping wife up three floors away guffawing at it...

Sweet Tooth up today and a new series of Feel Good. Iíve seen zero promotion for Feel Good which is a shame because the first series that Channel 4 did was really good.

Sweet Tooth is supposed to be a bit shit. Similar to the above, it sounds like they changed too much and the wrong things and totally lost sight of what the story is supposed to be about.

I have no idea what Sweet Tooth is but the reviews are pretty glowing so far aren't they? 100% on Rotten Tomatoes at the minute.

Oh, well if it's got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes then it looks like it's a flawless show, perfect in every way ;)

I'd take early RT/IMDb review scores with a huge pinch of salt - time and time again it's shown that critics shower things with praise for the wrong reasons. I'd also wait for the user score to come in, for balance.

The other issue with Sweet Tooth is that it's a series, hence no guarantee it'll be concluded in a satisfying way, if at all.

I like a limited series, because it helps guarantee the story isn't being dragged out indefinitely, and there is a real story being adhered to.

I also like a series with self-contained stories in each episode because you can take something away from each episode, regardless of any overarching narrative.

Hopefully this series turns out to be short and sweet (tooth), rather than long and arduous.

The review I read seems to have been taken down (dons tinfoil hat) but it really slammed it. I suppose the guy could have been a *big* fan of the comics and just hates change.

Tbh, I did like the series and looking at other reviews, it does sound as if he had a bit of a point.

I dunno. I'll still watch it, obvs.
