So I picked up this for £24.85 (works out £6.20 per month) but totally forgot you get a HDMI and two AA batteries in the box. So not bad, considering.

Can't you just make a fake complaint every summer about it not working, despite everything else in your house, very unusual, much technical, do the angry Englishman and get two months of Sky Movies that way?

It's worked for my mum like that for about two years now.

It's monthly Riv. But yeah, cancelling online gives you the classic "no stay with us!!" prompts and extra months etc.. Not every time tho, I've heard.

Just bought a 6 month code from eBay, instant email with the code, added and worked great!

Just under a fiver a month.

Yeah eBay is almost always the way to go with this, I haven't paid anywhere near full price in the last year.

I usually get a decent offer when I try to cancel. When they eventually stop offering those I go to ebay. I've ended up watching this more than Netflix and Amazon combined.

The wife has expressed interest in the current black Friday deals for this. The 12 month entertainment pass for £45. Worth a punt?

The normal in store (never use the default payment with NowTV, only cards or deals) cards are £15 for 3 months or £25 for 5 so you save 25% that way. Sometimes when you 'leave' they offer you deals which can be cheaper. Not the worst price though

@simpleexplodingmaybe Three Billboards is excellent, Baby Driver fab too. Mother! With Jennifer Lawrence was good but weird. Get Out was really good but donít think Iím in a majority with that view here.

The Black Friday deal is worth it for us, £99 for the year and includes the entertainment channels and the Movies. Weíre ready for Game of Thrones now...
