Registered 17 years agoIn a sense it pretty much copies the style of mario galaxy, but actually I can see it being a good way to make Sonic playable again -
It looks alright, but i'm not entirely sold on the controls, which have been the series weakness for so long... -

Registered 9 years agoHope that annoying announcer-voice can be turned off. It couldn't in Colours and that was enough to make me stop playing. Don't remember it being in Generations, even on the Colours level ... -

Not for me. Think the last sonic game I enjoyed was on the DS and was a strictly 2D affair. -

Registered 9 years agoWell the cheapest I could find was Shopto for the 3DS, and WowHD for the Wii U.
I have the 3DS version in front of me (thanks Shopto) but I can't try it until I get home.
WowHD on the other hand are useless for preorders, I received my Zelda preorder yesterday (nearly 2 weeks after it was released)

Registered 13 years agoI really loved what I played at the Expo... I'm going to wait until some more reviews have surfaced. I find IGN pretty unreliable at the best of times, too. -
This might well be an early overeaction, giving that i've only seen Famitsu's and IGN's review scores, but...
Surely somebody else needs to make Sonic games now? Sonic Team can't get it right in 3D and they can't get it right in 2D. They've come close maybe a couple of times, but then some arse always feels the need to chuck a game-ruining gimmick in there anyway. Even the Rush games, which are by far the best of the bunch, had unnecessarily rubbish boss battles. -

Sounds like this is going to be another Sonic Adventure, largely slated but only by people who can't actually play it.
