Do we Phase 3'ers really need to reinstall the game? I thought the game would just update itself to the latest beta?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to have to download a new client. Hopefully it won't take me all day, like the first day of Phase 3!

I'll be sticking with Odin server again.

Delete the Phase 3, Phase 4 is a new client. Downloading now. 6451mb.

@Agent_Llama Did you delete the P3 client data beforehand or just install the new client over the top (assuming the PS3 can do that)?

Deleted P3. P4 uses a completely new download.

I was surprised how quickly it downloaded considering PSN's usually-glacial download speeds.

I've just started it up and it's telling me it'll take a frankly astounding 45 minutes. The P3 download took me about 3 hours (after failing once about two hours in...).

I would say I'll believe it when I see it, but I've just left it doing its thing upstairs. I'll check up on it when I go to bed.

Hey Ror, if you're going to Odin again please feel free to add me! I will be on during Phase 4 and it would be great to team up and anybody else who wants to play Odin.

You get a code from S-E and redeem it in the store. I think you had to apply for entry before July 30th.

Not sure what's happening with that. I'd guess it's another new client based on changes from Phase 4. They're emailing out instructions nearer the time.

You can now log in on the Phase 4 client (PS3 at least) and update it. It's another 1.8gb. Getting mine done now!
