The DZ has everything I hate about multiplayer games in one handy, avoidable space. Yeah the loot and rewards are better but a bit like Sea of Thieves' current problem, why spend ages getting some good stuff just so some tosser(s) can nick it off you just before you cash it in? I got the season pass cheap at Xmas and was disappointed all the decent content was locked behind lvl 30, but after hitting 30 exactly 2 months ago have clocked up a mind boggling 240hrs! Proof they finally got it right. Yesterday I finally got an Urban MDR and NinjaBike Backpack in the same session, haven't screamed at a game in excitement for a LONG time! |

@Frogofdoom I was very disappointed Survival never caught on, it wasn't all that dissimilar to something like PUBG but it just didn't have enough distinguishing features for it to stand out. Plus the rewards just weren't worthwhile so it wasn't an efficient farming method. I feel like with a bit of expansion and randomisation like you say, it could have been a very Twitch-friendly mode.
I really enjoyed the brief time I spent with it though and would love if more developers took risks with their DLC like it. -

Registered 19 years ago@GarlVinland It dropped after killing the boss in the daily mission at Queens Tunnel Camp on Challenging. Pretty easy to run through that one even with a semi competent bunch of randoms.
It's not semi automatic so you have to pump the trigger like mad but boy does it pack a punch for an AR. 684000 crit headshot made me go oooooh -

Registered 14 years agoGet a lvl 30 to power level you. Might not be much fun but you'll get to the end game quicker. The 1- 30 campaign is good fun tho. -

Registered 14 years agoIf you're on Xbox do a Looking For Group otherwise ask a friend nicely. The NPC's level changes with the group.
So if you're 10 and your mate is 30 then the NPCs will be lvl 20ish. You'd die from a nasty glance from the NPCs so stay back while your mate kicks ass. -

Registered 17 years agoOver the last coup!e of days I have put around 3 hours into this. I played on release, but only up to lvl 10. Due to the almost constant praise from the lads I play Gears with (including our very own BFG) I thought it was time to revisit.
Played a mission with 2 sometimes 3 randoms last night, one had coms. Took us ages to take down a Boss, ( Joe Ferro? ) only lvl10!!!! We were either 9 or 10.
It was fun though, so I will have another go tonight, inbetween Gears and FC5 of course
I need to work out gear management and perks though. -

Pretty sure I got close to 30 before I stopped playing but I can't remember. I have the season pass too (but never played any of the content).
I'm probably going to hoover up the remaining collectibles but I'd like to see what the game is like now too. Not sure when I'll install it but it's on my list. -

Might actually play from the start again some day, if I ever have the time. -

Registered 9 years agoI started playing this again on the x and even without the enhancement patch it looks really clean. Yeah I’m still trying to find my way round it, so much has changed but definitely for the better. I’m not into the multiplayer side but enjoying being the lone wolf and can now solo the challenge difficulty just about. There’s a lot of content in this. -
PS4, booted game up, main character missing. Level 30 only recently started playing again.
Unisoft forum says to complete a support ticket but man, hope it just comes back by itself -

Registered 9 years agoAs I said previously this looks good on the x upscaled by my 4k tv. But the x enhanced has taken it way further with 4k support and better shadows among other improvements. So much cleaner and detail and clarity, I can see the enemy even at night way better. As with the patch for me as a solo player, division tech is better available to earn and last night after completing 2 daily assassination missions, the end boss dropped an exotic weapon. First ever for me. -

Registered 19 years agoNice. I had a load of caches saved thinking they'd give 10 Div Tech each after the patch. I was wrong, they still only give 1. Even so, got about 450 from what I had saved, plus had a supply drop ready to go. Still need at least another 800 to max out my 2 Classified sets (Firecrest & D3-FNC) and weapons of choice though! -
