Wasn't fussed about WatchDogs being delayed as I'm more interested in this. Plus they worked on World In Conflict, may have to get that again as it struggled to work on my old laptop

From what I can remember of E3, this game looked incredible. It was the bullet holes coming through the car windows that really got me. Hoping it's good, the online aspect of it has me worried.

I will be amazed if the final game looks as good as the E3 reveal which had to be BS itself. No game would be that perfect.

Ubisoft are good at making games look better then they are. Just like Watch_Dogs, I'm waiting to see what happens to this.

So the engine is built but the game development has barely begun. Why ubisoft would give a 2014 release date is beyond me. Are they pulling an EA stunt and trying to passify investors etc?

Given the promise the game has shown then i doubt massive are going to want to rush the game out.

Ubi have been a bit 'optimistic' with release dates but in their defence at least they seem to see the value in delaying a game to get it right.

Well, what we've seen is a pretty environment that you can move around and shoot at things and not much else, which isn't hard to throw together, especially for a company like Ubi that has plenty of resources. The E3 demo was almost certainly a vertical slice and it's hard to say how much was scripted.

It would be a bit odd though if they made just section then only really worked on the engine afterwards.

I saw a video of this and it looks like a standard cover-based third person shooter (with nice graphics and animation). Am I missing something?

Missing the online open world(with PvP in same world), drop in/out co op, RPG elements, persistent world, trading between players, companion tablet app( only seen it control a drone/call in missile strikes for your friends)

More interested in this than Watch Dogs

I wish publishers would put such massive effort into amazing graphics for something that isn't yet another fucking cover based shooter (yeah yeah, online open world).
