I don't get all the hate for FMX tracks, I really liked them and reckon they'll be the only tracks I manage top 100 scores on!

Trials is a precision game. The fx system just isn't precise enough

    Very much this.

Like i said, now Ive platinumed them all I doubt i'll go back to them. There is potential there though.

I actually quite liked the idea of the FMX stuff when they first announced it. More options for flair moves, like the backflips which have always been there, No bad thing.

It's the execution that's flawed however. Plus the insistence on filling out the campaign unfun score attacks using the broken system.

At least the FMX system has some point to it. Unlike the waste of campaign space quadbikes.

I've only just realised this is on the 360! What a numbskull! There goes another reason to upgrade to a new console. Is this on PS3 too?

So a friend of mine has paid for this for me after I dropped him to the airport.

Dear lord it's addictive . I really enjoy learning the tracks and tricks by watching the helmets, but I hate the FMX stuff, it's frustrating when tricks don't register or can't be performed.

I'm not setting the world on fire yet, but I did get the top score (out of who I've added anyway) on 2 or 3 tracks.

Global, Andy, Fuzzy, and Subsphere..... You guys are way too skilled at this :D

Whoop, finally cleared my first Extreme (Eye Of The Storm).

Just a bronze with something like 200 faults, but I got there! And I've managed to complete it a second time.

The Trials games must have the tightest and most nuanced controls of any series; 20 hours of solid play and I'm only starting to grasp some of the finer elements.

@FuzzyDuck - completely agree. I went back to HD the other day and it's amazing how much the physics have improved.

And 20 hours is nothing, I reckon I've spent a good 300 hours playing trials over the last few years...

    @andytheadequate

Wish I still had my 360 (had HD and Evo, about 40 hours between them) for a gawk.

Someone in this thread said it perfectly; you don't level up your character, you level up your skills.

Anyway, back I go for another crack at Rock Of Rages.

Rock of ages is one of the harder extremes, may be worth trying another extreme. Even with all that time played, I'm still not in the same league as Booped and Gartt

And I'm not in the same league as the real top players, lots of depth in trials games :-)

    @booped

You might aswel be. Your that far in front on my leaderboards that I've been tempted to remove you just to make me feel less shit! (ps4) I must be missing the skills needed to be that good. Same with GT6, I class myself as good but online time trial events say otherwise :(

Finally crumbled and got this the other day. 50% through now and was thinking it was a bit easy. Now the hard levels have kicked in! ! Warp zone 1 took me a good 25 mins to complete. Doh! Any tips on bunny hops?

Finally Medalled on all the Expert tracks, one broken PS4 control in the process. It felt so good to finish Inferno IV! Looking for people I can add on PSN that are doing the same, would like a more competitive friends leader board than I have currently (that makes me sound like such a dick, ha). Anyone in the same boat?

@by_default - don't add Booped, he'll only make you feel bad.

Speaking of Inferno IV, I have it pretty much nailed now for a low fault run, but I just can't do those pipes regularly enough. For my best run I fluked them and did them second time, but since then every run is ruined by them.

Think I have all the other extreme tracks under 10 faults now, except a platinum on the first extreme and 42 faults on Inferno

@booped Ah awesome cheers, have added my name to the list for PS4. Enjoy having people way better than me on the leaderboard, gives me something to work towards.

@andytheadequate I found Inferno IV the hardest track overall, though I got stuck the longest on the 2nd section of Frostbite (large gap onto short ramp, 2 more hops up before the checkpoint), though once I got past that I managed to the do the rest of the track in the same run (100+ odd faults mind).

1 Fault away from a gold on the first Extreme track, will be my first gold on any trials Extreme track so will be nice when I can finally make it through a full run without fucking up too much.

@booped thanks. I did eventually get to have a go on a few tracks but it then turned silly again. Seems fine on the Xbox One but just doesn't have the same amount of tracks.

I still haven't purchased Fusion (I'm waiting for a bigger sale) but this user level seems incredible:

    The Cave.

This was a friend of mine's offering. You'd not guess it from this but he's actually worked in the games industry for years on some well received titles.

I bought this the weekend at last. (I now have a internet connection)

Where have all the 360 players gone? I used to have a full list of times to play against (HD and EVO), now I'm down to four!

    Also FMX can fuck off!

After putting in a good 5 hours on this, I can say it's a bit pants compared to Evo.

Has anyone ever got any tracks down from track Central? Every single time I get, Cannot connect to Ubi servers! Fuck off and let me play some user content!!

There is a problem with the MS servers apparently, they are looking into it.

    PS4/Xbox one/PC are all working

It's not as good as Evo but it's still really good. The track design is as solid as ever, even if the theme is a bit naff.

Shame the dlc seems to be nowhere near as generous as before. Good old Ubisoft doing their best to ruin a dev's reputation with overpriced dlc and shit servers

@andytheadequate Don't get me wrong, I've had a good 5 hours with it and I'm sure to have many more. Just a few things I don't like.

The menus, music and theme mainly. Also the lack of friends playing(not helped by the game being split over multiple systems).

I'll even buy the dlc, as it would be rude not to.
