Maybe not, but I am sure she'll be a 'wild card' off the court so to speak.
I don't think she'll be back as a wild card...
Moo Moo starts at five o'clock.
I will NEVER EVER forgive you Mr. Fourteen ... ever! -

Registered 19 years agoIs the red button stuff on the BBC not on Sky this year or something? It's not appearing at all on my Sky+ box, yet they seem to be showing plenty of other matches on the website. -

Slightly off topic however, seeing as you are the thread creator in question, can you change the thread title ... or is that only something a moderator can do now?

I reckon Nadal will be in for a rough old ride this year. -

Is Nadal injured or just a terrible off day? -

Registered 13 years agoNadal looking crocked. He'll probably take a few months off again after this. How on earth did he win the French Open? Unless this injury is new? -

You'd struggle to find a time when Nadal's knee wasn't injured to some degree or another.

... to me, it looks like Nadal just wish to go home now, for sure.

He was immense at Roland Garros! -

Registered 12 years agoHe put so much into the French you just knew this was going to be an off one for Nadal. His knees aren't up to it for uninterupted periods anymore. Can see him building his seasons around Roland Garros from now on, he could probably win that one at 80% anyway so it's the safe bet. -

Registered 13 years agoGreat performance by Darsis but Nadal was blatantly fucked, running round practically all his backhands and not even chasing down reachable balls by the end.
Sad

... a shame really, seeing as he was a beast at Wimbledon for several years.
Things are a little bit easier for Moo Moo if he keeps going too. -

Registered 13 years agoNot sure it'll be easier for Murray. If the seeds go through as planned, Murray will have to play Tsonga then Federer then Djokovic to win Wimbledon. If anything, it makes it easier for Federer as he now avoids a potential QF tie with Nadal. -

Registered 11 years agoAh, fair enough ... it was just me being really picky.
The tournament usually has the year settled before 'Wimbledon Championships'.
Told you I was picky!

He reached the semi-final quite comfortably at Queens so, it doesn't surprise me Hewitt is playing well.
Wow, Hewitt is looking good.
God, I love watching tennis on TV all evening! -
Hewitt looked like he'd drunk about 10 cans of Relentless. -

Miss. Watson is on in thirty minutes time and we'll see Serena and Novak on the Centre Court from one o'clock this afternoon.
Nadal was very gracious in defeat yesterday, but those reporters who kept continuously asking about his knee should ponder a different question in the future. Talk about unnecessarily winding him up!
p.s. Ta mrpon.

I know a lot of people don't but if you follow the game closely it wasn't a massive suprise. Yes he won the French recently but he's still coming back from 6 months off and on top of that he didn't get much time to tranision to grass. On clay he can take his time and run round his forehand as the game is slower, but on grass he has to twist and turn a lot faster. With his dodgy knee he's just not going to be able to do it.
Wow, just tuned in.

I can see him having similar problems as they reach the hardcourt season and the US Open in Sept. -
Fantastic Tennis being played by Dustin Brown against Leyton Hewitt. Some great shot making from him.
Also, Darcis, the guy that beat Nadal, has withdrawn from the tournament with injury.
