So the BBC have a drunk Craig Charles as one of their reporters this year... odd choice.
It's Friday night and he normally has a funk show on 6. He's there for Chic.

Yeah Chic were good, but was Nile Rodgers' guitar actually plugged in? Couldn't hear it because of the keyboards.

I've looked at the line ups for all the stages and I think the Other Stage is better than the Pyramid Stage. Good stuff on the other smaller stages as well.

I think I'll go to Glastonbury one year just to get it done. Might actually enjoy it.

Yeah. In 10 years time you'll just be glad that you've heard of at least 2 bands :)
  • Deleted user 28 June 2013 22:52:31
Yeah you can't beat a festival, atmospheres are so relaxed. i've been to reading and sonisphere, and both were great, especially the latter. Although reading can be a bit tense sometime with 18 years old who wanna be 'grown up' and i do worry that glasto is turning a bit into a big weekender rather that what its heritage is built on, but i guess that might me being too cynical of me.

Out of the line up, i would love to see portishead, nick cave, elvis costello, the hives, smashing pumpkins, seasick, dinousaur jr, johnny marr, daughter, 65 days of static, willy mason and quite a few others. Thats quite a few acts, and considering what other stuff there is, a pretty good weekend.

Would hope that the year i go, radiohead, or blur headlined. Would have loved to seen neil young and dave gilmour a few years back as well.

I was close to that this year I think :) Not exactly a lot of bands I've heard of there this weekend.

I'm forty in a couple of years, did bestival last year and still would quite fancy doing Glastonbury. at this age you have to do it in style because it's a damn sight harder

10 years since I went - the year of sunshine, Radiohead, REM, more sunshine, The Streets, and everyone shouting "GAY BAR!!" everywhere you went.

Sounds fucking great. Apart from The Streets! Nah - they'd have been good too.

Heard Lamaq talking about Glasto 94 as his first on R6 before. That was my 4th!
I haven't been since 98. Now the bands look so young. Never mind the crowd..

Thought the Vaccines were great. Want the Arctic Monkeys noaw!

:D There was a great big spurty penis one earlier, maybe during The Vaccines? Also a very nicely-breasted lady flashing her boobs.

    Monkeys nailed it.

Django Django weirder than I expected but very entertaining.

It's been a good day for nerdcore.

    Gosh, this is a treat.

Monkeys were Ok. Good, but the crowd seemed a bit flat for a headline act?
