Do you remember? Page 2

    OK

Ice Magic was ace, Pacer Mints were ace (Trebor soft mints are not nearly as good, not even the spearmint ones).

Table creams, anyone? Bit like a blancmange.

A selection of chocolates/sweets that we used to get at Christmas called Weekend. They had luminous colours!

Horrid one for you: Big Daddy's Chewy Chocolate. Sponsored by the famous wrestler and tasted as bad as it sounds!

Also, sweetcorn relish flavour Skips. I can't stand prawn cocktail flavour: these were amazing.

Just the thought of a snack being flavoured like a prawn cocktail makes me want to vomit.

    Texan bars again. Loved 'em.

Farmer Brown's crisps. (animal shaped corn snack thingies)

Spangles... oh yeah I remember pacers too. They were like minty Chewitts. :)

I wanted to ask a very specific question, but it's kind of silly starting a thread for it and so I'll throw a question out there.

Who remember: The sauce ( chocolate - maybe other flavours ) that you squeezed as a liquid onto icecream and it set hard? I used to like that when I was younger. It maybe still around but I haven't seen it.

So throwing the question out there, what foods/drinks do you remember from years back that aren't around anymore?
    You can still get that.

I had some recently. They currently do the Cola flavour and another one which is in an orange and green stripey packaging (not quite sure what flavour).

My local Morissons sells them. Take a look in the sweet aisles of your local supermarket, they're normally in the same place where you'll find stuff like the Wham Bars and the Freddie Frogs.

I remember you could buy strips of jelly sweets that were shaped like various toys/cartoon characters. I remember getting He-Man shaped ones, my mum saved the packets and used them as tiny jelly moulds.

I used to have a soft spot for Posh Noodles. They were basically a premium version of Pot Noodle and were genuinely quite nice (especially the Thai Hot and Sour one).

I also loved the Fuse chocolate bar, the coffee creme in Cadbury's Roses (I can't believe they got rid of it...), and chocolate orange hob-nobs.

    Lucky Charms never went anywhere.

I know what you mean about that stuff tasting nasty as you get older, though. Some of those sugary cereals I used to kill for, I can't eat today.

I never see them in supermarkets!

And sugar puffs I can eat occasionaly and like, but golden grahams and frosties - jesus they're gross.
    Golden Grahams are still great!

As for Lucky Charms, they stopped selling them in the UK 15 odd years ago but are still available in the states. You can get a silly overpriced box from import places though.

Did anyone have Crispy Noodles? I remember them being really good but then they were essentially crisps you cooked (deep fat fried) yourself.
