Fight Club 2

This kind of slipped under the radar a bit, but at Comic Con, Palahniuk announced he's doing a graphic novel sequel to Fight Club.

It will likely be a series of books that update the story ten years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden. Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It’s only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped by Tyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem.
Not too sure about it, myself. Sounds like it's just taking the same emasculation themes as the original and applying them to fatherhood. Which were explored quite broadly in the original anyway. But we'll see. Be interesting to see if he bases the visuals off Brad Pitt and Ed Norton, anyway.

    Bit of a dangerous sequel

Sounds pointless and a bit of a cash-grab. The American Psycho Milennium Diaries proved that revisiting a classic only ends in disaster and embarrassment. I doubt this will be the exception.

To be fair, Invisible Monsters Remix was awesome. But that was more Director's Cut than continuation.
