    @dr-gray

Definitely. Apparently random map generation is a pretty new thing, according to the Strafe article today.

Pixel Titans are also following suite with looking like it's a game made in the 90s. Three piece leather; half price from DFS, I reckons.

Bless. Jeff demonstrates he doesn't quite get the concept of the 'uncanny valley'.
  • Deleted user 27 January 2015 19:08:55
It leaves the uncanny valley coughing in its dust because there are no characters

Heh, he's changed the title of the article now.
  • Deleted user 27 January 2015 19:32:06
    It's a tragedy really

He's still better than Dan Whitehead. At least he doesn't make facts up to suit his point in the article and report them as well researched findings.

'...much better than the awful Master System port of the superior Megadrive version of Sonic' - er, Dan, they were two completely different games

'the inability to change the controls is unforgiveable and therefore affects the overall score' - er, Dan, you can. Under 'Options'. I appreciate that they're hard to find, what with being HIDDEN under 'Options', I mean, what were they thinking, but they're still there.

'more than half of the people that bought Borderlands 2 at launch have already completed it three weeks on....' er, Dan, really? That's probably your best 'made shit up on the spot to support my weak-arsed intro to this article' that I've ever seen.

Jeffrey, in comparison, is just a bit of a loveable plonker.

Yeah, I thought was over selling it. It looks nice and all but pretty obviously computer graphics, and not a massive leap over what I've seen already.

He changed the title and uncanny valley part, but apparently remains that this relatively simple 3D scene is "one of the most shockingly realistic pieces of scenery ever modeled in 3D."

    If you say so, Jeffrey!
His articles are like facebook postings, everything is the best thing ever, the most hilarious thing ever etc.

    Batter up!

Surely there should be a certain article on the site by now..?

    From the Bloodborne GotY article:

It will contain three new areas and 10 new weapons including a cool axe/saw weapon called Simon's Bowblade.
I thought the Bowblade was going to be a erm, bow/blade hybrid?

    Max Payne is an FPS.

The original Max Payne was released in 2001. The FPS cop drama spawned two sequels, 2003's Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, and Rockstar's 2012 follow-up Max Payne 3.

I think the mistake you've made is assuming he'd use the same convention as the rest of us mere mortals. For him, FPS obviously stands for Frequent Painkiller Swallowing.
