    Oh my

All the recipes look good, but that one stood out for me.

A double cheesebread cheeseburger is in there somewhere, at a healthy 4300 calories

I was hoping this would be a new African-American hairstyle.

I've always fancied trying brown sugar fried with bacon, apparently it's an American thing, sounds yummy.

Seems like a lot of work for a taco. Imagine if you wanted 2 or 3?

I'm certain it's yummy and delicious, but still...

I'm sure you'd have a good chance of dying eating just one, and you want 2 or 3?

Heh I'm sure it'll all be fine. Got a decent looking recipe for a kind of pasta/macaroni/bacon/cheese thing with breadcrumbs to get it crispy on top after baking it. Just need to not burn the house down

How are you doing the bacon, I love it flame grilled until its got a tiny bit of crunch to it, if it's going in a butty though I only flash it in the pan with no oil and lashings of brown sauce?

Bacon done in the oven is a bit too dry.

Well it says to fry it in small squares to start with till its crisp, then when the pasta and sauce/cheese mix are all done - mix it it together in a casserole dish and cover with melted butter mixed with breadcrumbs, so I reckon it'll be just crispy enough after a 20 minute bake.

Hopefully anyway. Have a bad habit of going overboard with ingredients so need to stick to recipe

@bitch_tits_zero_nine - yeah it might be, but I'll be mixed with pasta and a sauce though?

    Heh that's bugging me now.

OK well, if you had a load of bacon, pasta, cheese etc and wanted something very bacony and savoury, what you do?

I can't tackle that taco but I'll post whatever monster creation I make for shits and giggles :D

Can't wait to see what you come up with, I'm eating cheese and onion crisps with a glass of wine for dinner tonight.

That's what I've been like for most of this week so having to make up for it tonight!

Still haven't a clue about what I'm doing yet but I'm sure something mental will emerge :) and if it works it'll be a winner - bacon, cheese and maybe pasta isn't that much cash
  • Deleted user 6 August 2013 21:12:15
Go creative. I made a batch of pasta sauce last week but I didn't have any olive oil so I made it with lemon infused rapeseed oil

Thought I was going to produce something wonderful; it was rank, but you have to try!

Butter is a suitable substitute for olive oil with pasta.
