Do you need a seperate IP address to play WoW?

I imagined that that was how these things worked. Am I just being stupid then, do you merely need two accounts?

You should just need a router (or internet connection sharing enabled).

    are you using a router?

can you change the port on the ip address it uses within the game?

    so you could both have

    pc1 - 001.002.003.004:1
    pc2 - 001.002.003.004:2

Most new games will probably let you do this, as it's not an uncommon thing to want to do...

I'd be surprised if it's not discussed in whatever support sites they've got :)

You will just need a second account, you can get DSL providers who will supply you with extra static ips (Zen give you 8 for nothing) however they are more useful if you are running servers on the line.

Apparently (I have checked with supplier) Andrews & Arnold can provide up to 10 IP's on one connection....
