here's a tip, get one of the scooters go full speed hold up and brake until your almost vertical and then just hold up and nothing else and you will stay balanced.

I've been doing tons of wheelies, but in my stats, my longest distance and time are both 0. Is there some criteria as to what counts as a wheelie ?

Well, after my voting thread I thought I'd keep a bit quiet on GTA:VC, but now that you ask... ;-)

Yes, I am enjoying it, and much more so than GTAIII. I haven't had the time to play very much, but the storyline has already got me hooked more than that of GTAIII ever did. Mission design seems much improved, and the motorbikes are extreme fun. Also, the buy property stuff and the ability to walk into certain buildings may seem like little improvements, but imo they add a ton of credibility and motivation to the game world. I only have to say that Vice City looks a bit generic when compared to Liberty City, imo. Roads and buildings offer less variety this time, but then I have not yet unlocked any further islands. And they really overdid the trails effect this time. While it basically looks better than without the trails, it gives me a headache in no time.

For the people saying 'my wheelies are'nt counted' you have to wheelie for 3 seconds or more because anything under that is pretty shit and not worth it.

ok now for a real challenge getting over 10 seconds on 2 wheels in a car.(motorbikes don't count)

Two wheeled stuff in a car is bloody tricky, I've not managed to record a time yet.

One thing not to attempt is trying to loop your bike on a really high jump, Tommy won't be able to hang on all the way around! :-D

I find it that my bike always tips over to the side and leaves me in the gutter when I try to do a wheelie too long.

Where's a decent place to pull two wheel tricks in cars, or how do you go on two wheels?

I think the airport is best for that kind of malarky.
