OK. Grilled was the way to go. I am still alive and basking in their after steak glow.

Mission accomplishes. Thanks for your valued opinions.

The correct answer is, of course, give them a bit of colour in a frying pan. Brown 'em on a high heat for a couple of minutes. Then, add a knob of butter and stick them in the oven for 8-12 minutes depending on thickness and how you want them cooked. It's ok to cook pork chops medium nowadays if you want them that way.

Personally I like them with the fat well rendered and cooked medium/well done.

They turned out pretty good by the way. At the time it was a bit of a nightmare, what with all the double vision and everything getting in the way

This is good! or, for future reference (it is a funny thread) slow cook - covered, 140 for a good hour or so - and finish off on a very hot griddle pan (think another post mentioned this as well).

Key with any meat is that it must be a room temperature prior to whatever cooking method is used.

Wrap them in tinfoil and microwave them.

    Keeps them moist.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Put them in the toaster. I loved me a toasted pork chop.

That idea of using the marinade for roasties is really good!
The idea of using the marinade as a drizzle over cooked food is pretty terrible - that's tasty tasty raw pig blood and uncooked meat juices.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Or really ill.
